12:33 reminds me of Germantown Police Station, terrifying way to be introduced to Super Mutants for the first time. I actually found Fallout 3 quite scary.
I've weirdly always felt like these could associate with the different factions and/or enemy types in Fallout 3 0:01 (Brotherhood of Steel) 3:37 (Raiders) 7:01 (Talon Company Mercs) 9:05 (Brotherhood Outcasts) 12:34 (Super Mutants) 15:13 (Enclave) 18:13 (Wasteland monsters/beasts)
The enclave is spot on. The tone delineates order, power, and an undying, militant ambition for something. But it also has that slight hint of deceit, a subterfuge arising from an abuse of power. Very fitting.
Honestly, Fallout 3's music is music I feel could still work in the classic top down games. I mean heck, New Vegas still reuses some of the tracks from this game alongside Fallout 1 and 2's music, *because* they work so well together.
I find it hilarious that people can’t go 5 fucking seconds without mentioning that they prefer New Vegas over Bethesda’s Fallout. It’s on EVERY SINGLE FALLOUT RELATED VIDEO. Like holy shit we get you like NV better now shut the fuck up. Some people have different tastes.
Fallout 3's battle music seems a lot more adventurous and serious, and New Vegas incorporates some of the OST from 1 and 2 along with having battle music that feels alot more tribal-ish? You hear a lot of beats that sound like tin pots and clanks, it fits the atmosphere with how crazy the Mojave Wasteland is. If only we had a Fallout 4 game with the writing and elements of New Vegas, it would've done so well.
Fallout 4 is great. I don't get why people don't like it? Like to me its pretty simple concept and there is no need to over complicate it. People just like nostalgia and think everything should be like something else from the past. I disagree. Things should not be the same. its boring.
@@JustChill-zd4ib I personally enjoyed 4, I loved it’s crafting and weapon mods and such, even the settlement making too to some extent, it just has more of a quality of life to it compared to the previous versions. Maybe I just like the “old feel” of NV/3 but more towards the former. I have absolutely nothing against FO4 other than NPC’s looking like they have baby oil on their skin during the sunlight
When I first heard 'Metal on Metal' Soundtrack (fourth combat music starts at 9:05), my first impression was _"I think I've heard this one before when I was playing Fallout Tactics"_ - specifically this one; ua-cam.com/video/_uMCjpwLa9k/v-deo.html - then I realize both games' soundtracks were composed by the same person; Inon Zur.
Makes me think of The Las Vegs Monster & those beasties from that underground sequence from The Black Scorpion when it comes 2 enemy designs in this game after all.
I've been listening to this ever since fallout 3 came out play the best songs if you can find some better war songs that would be awesome but I haven't found anything that compares to this I listened to this everyday

Always associated 9:05 with raiders. Genuinely not the same without hearing "AHAHAHA ITS KILLING TIME!"

Even if i prefer FNV and F2 over F3 and F4, i must say that F3 had the best battle music.
Fallout 4 had the worst battle music in all the games spanning Morrowind all the way up to it.
Sackson No, it has one epic battle music and it sounds very heroic.

Damn I love new vegas but fallout 3 really kicks its ass when it comes to music.
I love this sick tune especially the bit that starts 1:15
Beth Jacqueline me too, reminds me of something that you would hear in The Dark Knight or something.

you tried new vegas in fo4 mod?
new vegas ost is good, especially for using the classical ones, but i like most the fo3 ost becouse is more epic in my opinion
