- Jacinta Yangapi Nampijinpa Price is an Australian politician from the Northern Territory. She has been a senator for the Northern Territory since the 2022 federal election. She is a member of the Country Liberal Party, a politically conservative party operating in the Northern Territory affiliated with the National Coalition. She sits with the National Party in the federal parliament. She has been the Shadow Minister for Indigenous Affairs since April 2023. Jacinta has worked to advocate for law and order, racial equality before the law, and an end to welfare dependency and what she calls "opportunistic collectivism" in Indigenous policy. She has been a critic of what she terms "paternalistic" approaches to Aboriginal autonomy.

Indigenous Australians have excelled in every area of public life and Australians admire them for it. I am of Aboriginal descent and proud of it. It's when you are told you're a victim that the problems start.

The evidence of disenfranchisement of first peoples WORLDWIDE is irrefutable, non-partisan and evidence based.
Jacinta mis-labels this process as victim seeking, as the fault is all theirs.
Their loss of language, culture, heritage, life and promise as independent people.
She and Mundine are a privileged minority who represents the majority conservative line.
She is in effect, like John Anderson, a liar.
This noble young woman is a beacon of hope for Australia. She represents those of us who want a united Australia, not a "them and us" society. We are all AUSTRALIANS and we must stand united under one flag. I stand with Jacinta and the millions of Australians who don't want to see our great nation remodeled into the Left's vision of a socialist utopia.

Jacinta standing in London making a speech at ARC is all the proof you need that we don’t need a voice, we didn’t need to spend $400m to find that out, and that ultimately, it is up to each individual to make the choices that lead to the adventure of their life.

@@banta-pd8zj she never denied they exist. She said she will use her voice to speak up for any marginalised group, but especially referring to her Alice Springs community, whom she works tirelessly for. She just doesn’t see herself as a VICTIM. Sounds like a healthier attitude to take on to me!
It's never been a case of victim-hood.
That's the mantra adopted by those opposed to reconciliation.
That's my point.
I find her message confused.
We are all Australians and yet she stresses those cultural practices which she loathes and opposes, eg her stories about her mother's youth.
She's playing both sides it seems.
Yet she follows national party policies which has more likely been antithetical to aboriginal interests.
The point that she glosses over is that indigenous people want to maintain language, cultural practices, spirituality but guess what has been attacked most vehemently over the past several months.
Cherry picked negativity.
The yes vote was all about rectifying faults.
It's as though Australians can't chew gum and whatever.
I'll remind people that when visitors come from overseas to see what's authentically Australian it's going to include meat pies, AFL and themed outback Aussie pubs, but guess what's going to be at the top of the list.

I've been waiting for Jacinta's speech to become available. She's so inspirational, and the attacks and pressure she endured and survived truly reveals the dedicated woman she is. I look forward to much more from Jacinta who after the reception at ARC surely knows she is not on this journey alone.
First time in my life that I’ve supported a National Party senator but honestly, this brave, intelligent, strong, proud Walpiri woman is the only one talking real sense in our Australian political landscape! Worth the watch, saw it at the time and she is real that’s what makes sets her apart. So different to say Kevin McCarthy who gave a typical politician’s speech, clevery drafted, smoothly presented with a sense of heard it all before but why didn’t he stand up and take control when he had the chance, second most powerful position in the US but he blew it.
