Apparent (last time I checked) the white colour of the clone armour is actually because the Kaminoans can see in infra red, and the armour doesn’t look plain white to them, but actually very colourful. That’s the lore explanation, but in real life I think it’s exactly the same reason why you don’t paint it, it’s just the colour of the plastic and it’s much easier for continuity if you don’t have paint or anything on top of that. Also to make them stand out and be visible on camera, well camouflaged soldiers don’t make for good cinema if you can’t see what’s going on
White reflects radiation actually, which is a common issue in space. And they're technically a navy anyways, so you actually don't want to camo in space. White was used by navy men in ww2 uniforms for man over board situations. The clones can survive for a shirt time in space.
Always fun to watch these low-budget builds for props and costumes. Keep up the great work! Also, you keep mixing up the terms for parts of the armor. What you have been referring to as 'Gauntlets" are actually Bracers. Gauntlets are armored gloves with a flange coming off the cuff that partially covers the forearms, while Bracers are the pieces that only cover one's forearms.
The online mando/stormtrooper communities consistently mislabel a bunch of armor parts with the same exact wrong names... which is an amusing legacy of those communities figuring things out before the internet, and labelling things off inaccurate memories of what various medieval armor pieces were called.
@@WilliamJakespeareProps Yeah saw it :/ Its unlucky bro, if you dont want to no worries at all. But maybe you can add Kang Variant/Peter Timeley Helmet Diy, or something like that to have as much as wider viewer area
ya know I was just thinking about that. I did the helmet awhile ago, there's a build video and everything. I'll see if I can work the rest of the armor into the schedule.

i heard the reason why was because the white armor was very intimidating.
I’ve been waiting for this one. I remember requesting it after the Stormtrooper armor build. I may try to make it myself.
Go for it!
Can you make the Maria Robot version costume of the movie METROPOLIS? It’s a classical one
I'll put her on the list!
I was wondering how on Earth I didn't see this video before but then I realized it came out 2 hours ago

Could remake the Clone Helmet? I’d love to see a more refined version of the Phase 2 helmet.
Hi! Question sorry. How do you get the measurements from your body and then put it on a peice of paper to trace? :)
Using a Flexible measuring tape. I also made a foam dummy of myself. I covered that in another video.
@@WilliamJakespeareProps omg thanks so much!! Love your videos ❤️

White reflects radiation, a common issue in space.
ah, got it!
Me thinking it was an action figure
I know right? The helmet has to be off to get any sense of scale.
Can you make a Chewbacca Bandelier?
probably!
Is there a chance of you will be doing a Loki Season 2 Crown that we saw on finale?
I don't know, I love the show but my last Loki Build bombed hard.

A really great build. My favorite way to eliminate sanding the cut edges was my purchase of a used small band saw vs a belt sander.
thanks for the tip, I'll look into it!
Hurray!
woo!
Super awesome, great work 👍👍
thanks!
@@WilliamJakespeareProps your welcome
