This is the sort of glider where you very much want to install a template like Mike Shellim's so that you can more accurately control the flight envelope, camber, etc. Also I'd recommend putting the flaps away in the moment before touchdown as otherwise sooner or later something will break.

Looks amazing, and seems so agile in the air. For being light, it seems to pick up speed quick.
Obviously you passed the covering challenge, and no wing-twist, or rolling spotted. (onlike your swap find)
On a sunny day, the Maverick will be spectacular to look at in the sky. (8:20)

Great maiden and love your enthusiasm. Really like the idea of this little glider with a motor up front, would be great to take for local walks across the fields and onto the surrounding hills in the summer. thanks for sharing this. 👍

What I need to warn you about your model pull-spring elevator, in case you dive a plane there can be not enoughf force on spring to recover from dive, I lost a plane this way. Now only carbone rods.

Makes you realise how poor foam models are in comparison doesn't it.
How did you get on covering it with that carbon fibre leading edge? Did it stick okay, or did you wrap around it?

Foam or Balsa makes no difference if they are designed appropriately
