I am considering buying the pedal box for my Mazda 2 (DJ). However, I MUST remove my accelerator pedal first to connect the pedalbox. Does anyone know if it is necessary to disconnect the negative battery cable before removing de accelerator pedal?? I'm afraid to reset my CPU.

Guys I have installed this on my 2020 Kia Rio 1.4 100 PS. It works amazing. It’s like the car wants to fly! And also driving 40 km/h in 3rd gear (my car has only 4 gears) it doesn’t seem it’s being late anymore in acceleration and response. Before at that speed he would struggle to accelerate. This really made him want to fly. Though I do have one question and that is: is it normal for engine to change slightly sound like it’s slightly louder or something? I have looked at the tachometer and it’s usual 750-800 rpm in idle. Hope for your response. Thank you! Satisfied customer from Australia. ❤️

I've had this on my Kia optima since it was new, like 3 years. I've been driving 80 000km and suddenly i got some noise, like tyre noise so I had it at carshop and its something in transmission that they have to change. Now my question is could this be caused by pedalbox?? Its not normal to have transmission issues at 80 000 km.
