Maybe that's it I have some of my own theory as well 1. She has always been faking innocent and kindness since childhood because she thought that was the only way to get there love and have things her way and Edith taking her brother away can be a threatening to her. 2. She has gotten to used to the perfect life that she could be expecting even more from the author but Edith starting to get the second ml makes her feel threatened so she took him from here for a moment and the author made the first ml tell Edith about the second ml because the third condition could be giving up on the second ml so the first ml told Edith how to have the second ml love just so Edith doesn't clear the third condition but like I said it's the author who is doing this. Why I am saying that Ryese feels threatened is because if you read more into the ch Ryese looks nervous about something so I feel it's because of Edith but that's just what I think 🤔 and these are just my theory's so probably it's not so true. @@namelessjustcuz I haven’t read this particular story but I’ve read many similar ones where the OG FL type character in the villainess story is an actually evil “white lotus” character. However I’m personally a believer of “fake it to you make it” and “you are what you do” so even if she wasn’t being genuine and everything has been calculated as long as she continues that attitude to the end without going to far into “green tea bitch” territory then she’s still a good girl in my book.

It's not just you. She's constantly fawning over her married foster brother, down playing her intelligence and always brings up how awful her childhood was. And there is no way in h3ll that the beloved ward of an Archduke had a fashion emergency big enough to make her wear a White Gown to someone else's wedding!
Yep. At first the ML is in love with her... but as Edith starts to point out how much of a jerk he is without even knowing her, he starts breaking loose from the line of thinking planted by the author and blondie's manipulation. The more he steps away from Blondie toward the woman he married, the more Blondie seems to run into him in the middle of the night in a somewhat revealing nightgown, and try to draw back his attention(with his brother's help) at teatime.
It would be spoilers if I wrote here immediately so read to your discretion I do think that Lise and Edith can actually become friends. The reason why it's sadly not possible is because Lise isn't Lise anymore. She's also possessed. In fact, Lise was possessed way before Edith does. She is possessed by the author of the novel. The author has a rather narcissistic personality. All that she wants is to live the life of a perfect heroine. With this reincarnation, her dreams comes true. As the "god" of this world, the author has authority over pretty much everything so the whole plot would flow and revolve around her. Due to her authority she can pretty much sort of control the characters (depending on its importance in the plot; hence she has less control over nameless characters, but heavy control on Cliff's mind for example) however she wants like puppets. The author lived as Lise for likely many loops as she doesn't seem to remember who she was except for her penname. She had no attachment for the characters she created. With so many loops, she got a bit bored and summoned dead souls into her novel's world, all reincarnation as the villainess Edith. She has done so for already 12 times, all resulting into something similar. However, it's probably also to note that these girls may not know the full extent of the plot of the story, nor would they know how to activate their brains in such puzzle solving (humans have different type of intelligences, and some just know how to survive better). None of the 12 Ediths were able to pass its first requirement to continue the story. The story has three requirements to fulfill to survive and with each requirement attained, the authority of the author would weaken, with the final requirement leading her to zero authority as the plot by then has deviated so much from its original course that it's impossible to track it back to where it's suppose to go, and also ultimately ending the loop. The 13th Edith though was luckily one of the readers of the novel and also quite good with using her brain in her situation with a bit of luck that allowed her to manage to pass all the requirements and keep her life. In short, I don't think Lise would've really wanted to do something of the sort of her own will and like the way she was originally written, Lise would definitely be friends with Edith and even try to understand her and help her whenever she can
my unpopular opinion is that rashta was not the villain. it's true she did some nasty things, but she was not the biggest villain. she was also trying to survive in a man's world, where she was first a slave, her son was taken from her, she was lied to about his death and her lover abandoned her at her most vulnerable moment. obviously if she saw an option to escape that life and move up in status, she would do it. the biggest culprit is sovieshit. rhyse is the real villain.

It's a shame that the author actually wrote Rashta as a solid antagonist, showing us more depth to her than most series in this genre. We see thar people can be slaves even when they didn't commit any crimes. We see her genuinely wanting to be a sister to a woman she admired, wanting her baby to survive and have a good life. We see exactly how her past and her desparation for a good life warps her intentions. We see people take advantage of this and manipulate her. Imo she's a very well written villain - her motivations are clear and even though you can't justify everything she did you can understand why she did it. Even the selfish reasons she abandoned her first baby when she found out it was alive makes sense in the context of her past. Unfortunately, she's wasted on the fandom.

You're not overthinking it. She is the bad guy. Expand for spoilers. . . . She is the author of the story whose caught in her own story universe and starts of with control over everyone. Which is why in the beginning killeon is an ass and why he gets headaches until he comes in contact with Lizzy. As Edith survives it reduces the influence of the Creator and rack time that happens we see killion change and begin questioning his previous behavior. It's like he's coming out of mind control. The Creator got bored and started dragging girls into to her story as Edith in order to watch then die for her amusement. Her growing frustration as the series progresses is because she hasn't managed to kill this Edith and it keeps reducing her influence. She also has less influence over the side characters like Anna. She starts getting increasingly upset as she realized killion genuinely has feelings for Edith because it's due to her reducing influence and she's not able to control him anymore. So yeah, she is just like Trashta and is very manipulative.
Trashta is the new trend! However you know, those kind of characters are like the readers' common ennemy in a manhwa you read just to be able to continue cursing her 😂😂
SPOILER Yes, Liz is Trashta. She was sent to an asylum at the end of the story for her crimes, and Cliff married some other girl. She's showing her true self as the author has lost a lot of control of the story after a few chapters.

Sounds like J.R.R Martin and his character wheel of death

You're not overthinking it. She is the bad guy. Expand for spoilers.

Them eyes
Them eyes are manipulative and EVEEIIL
"She's giving... THESE vibes.." *shows Sumin from Marry my husband*
me: welp, this means no good-
Trashta is the new trend! However you know, those kind of characters are like the readers' common ennemy in a manhwa you read just to be able to continue cursing her 😂😂
OH YES THAT PANEL PROVES SHE'S A BEACH
Name please ❤❤❤❤
Literally at the end
name: not your typical reincarnation story
That innocent face can’t fool me I watched Vincenzo with my mom
Name?
Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story
SPOILER
Yes, Liz is Trashta. She was sent to an asylum at the end of the story for her crimes, and Cliff married some other girl. She's showing her true self as the author has lost a lot of control of the story after a few chapters.
Where did you read that?!?...
You’re not overthinking it

You're not overthinking, sir 😂😂😂 those who havent read this webtoon I recommend
It’s all about their facial expressions I swear that’s how you know if the character is likable or not
i want, so badly, for Rhyse to be good and it’s just the storyline that’s doing everything.
Ryhse is definitely well written. Unlike rashta or su min, Ryhse puts on a rather convincing innocent act that has had me second guessing for a long time. Eventually i accepted the fact that something was definitely up with her but i was still shocked by the big reveal.
I mean your right- but its not TECHNICALLY the character herself thats evil(i mean she kinda is, but its not the character herself)
"Snakes on the grass" got me😂😂😂
"She's been nothing but innocent and kind"
Me be like:- Yea sure nothing but innocent and kind 💀💀
You are not, i felt that smirk in my bones when i read that panel
This is one of the few advertisements. I actually can appreciate and also. Yes, they do look like snakes in the grass.
