I can’t use multiplacers because I hate how they don’t line up directly over the dot. I’m working on a 70x70 and I’m a little over halfway done and I have individually placed every single drill because I spend more time fixing the drills that didn’t cover the fits with the multiplacers than I do just putting them down one at a time.
Same here... I can't stand the multi-placer. I can lay them down perfectly one by one, that thing just messes up my lines. I just finished my first one a 40x40 peacock. Now on to my next! :)
my second gem art arrives today and I’ve been waiting for it for a few days. im watching this really early in the morning but I can feel the power growing inside of me LOL
The first kit I got didn’t come with any wax so I had to individually place each diamond with the set of tweezers it came with. Took me about 19 days to complete. I put more than 4-5 hours into it daily on the weekdays and probably more like 7-9 hours on the the weekends.
Wow, your patience and perseverance are so admirable! It’s not easy to put in so much time and effort every day. Even though your kit didn't come with wax, you used tweezers to place each diamond individually, which required a lot of precision and skill. Your persistence and hard work finally yielded satisfactory results, which must be a very fulfilling job! Thank you for sharing this experience with us and I hope your future diamond painting productions will go more smoothly.
Omg! Why havent i thoufht of cutting like that! I just take half off and cover it back up when I'm done with that section lol! Ive made thisba hobby and i love it! The pad light helps SOOO much in the evening and night! I love doing this! Has to be 30 x40 cm or above though. I cant stand the smaller ones.

I cant use those thick pens i know there asthetic but there to heavy for me personaly i use the pink one cause its nice and light but there so coll i wish i could use them there just to heacy
Just use tweezers or you finger, really depends on the size of the gem(not real gem, some have gotten confused) also they are like super glued to it, it just sticks well.
Before making a diamond painting, you can put small diamonds of different colors into bottles and label them so that the diamonds are not easily spilled.
I just got. One and it’s so much harder then I expected 😫 The beads on the tray are never faced up right so when I wanna pick up more than one it’s so annoying and it doesn’t even stick as well 😣
I love doing these so much that I always just place them one by one to savor it all. but question, why do people take the plastic off and put parchment paper down instead?
What is being cut is not the canvas. The transparent paper torn off from the canvas is sticky, and white release paper is attached to prevent dust. Therefore, during the production process, small pieces are cut. You can also find a way to make diamond paintings that suits you better.
Hello! The white paper that is cut is release paper (dustproof paper), and the excess wax removed from the dot pen is better for pasting small diamonds on.

Can I ask?do you put wax everytime you put a new set in that thing?

what are you using as the layer on top? (the paper looking stuff)

can you also cut out the foil that protects the adhesive layer with a standy knife?

I love doing these so much that I always just place them one by one to savor it all. but question, why do people take the plastic off and put parchment paper down instead?
Because it's easier to cut with dust sheets than plastic film
I just got one of those and i really don't know what's the red glue(or whatever it is) for :')
What you are talking about may be clay. Dip a diamond pen into the clay to better absorb diamonds.

What happens to the wax after you put the beads on the painting
I mean does it stick along or do you reuse it??
This wax just makes the tip of the pen sticky, in order to pick up the diamonds more easily, and it does this
But then why do the have so many wax sheets stacked on top of each other ?
What is that thing covering your diamond painting
The white paper attached to the diamond painting is release paper (dustproof paper)
Is this butter paper?

I tried to do that but it cut the canvas 😢
Gently cut off the white paper to prevent cutting into the canvas. You will be better at making diamond paintings later.
What kind of white paper is that?
This white paper is release paper (dustproof paper)
Why do you do such small sections? I always do a larger square
Maybe its easier for them
It probably more appropriate size for upclose shots
