Excellent tutorial video as always, Barry. Taking the time to instruct us Bridgeport owners on proper maintenance is invaluable and it's the reason we chose H&W for all of our needs. Cheers!
Thanks for the knowledge you're sharing and the effort that goes into the videos. One thing that would be helpful is a very brief focus ( big Picture) on how/ where that assembly goes on the mill. Thank you.
The ear on mine was broken as well. I found a big old square nut a peice of steel flat stock and a fender washer that was the perfect thickness to hold it back in place. Got it good and beveled with a carbide burr and brazed it back into place fingers crossed that it will hold well. Mine did have a tight spot in the gear....I might go back and check that set screw....thanks for the tip. I swear I have the twin to the one you are rebuilding in these videos! everything is worn out and busted the same lol.
Thanks for your continued contributions to the Bridgeport community.

These videos on the Bridgeports are amazing! Thanks for sharing your knowledge of these machines!
I watch these videos with interest. My Bridgeport works well enough but I wish I had time to give it some tlc.
Really nice to see a video of this as I had a hard time doing it a different way!
