Hi Bert. I love the auction videos. Looking forward to the flea. A Jacknife is not for prying, I've broken many!
Hello from Milwaukee Wisconsin birth I like your videos especially the auction
I used to love going to farm auctions.
Up here in Canada where I live all the auctions are held online nothing live yet I'll wait till then good stuff there you got. 👍👍😀🇨🇦
Love Auctions 🤗
Hi Bert another great video stay safe bro auction you manage to buy some toy regard 💪👍💰❤️🇸🇬
Wow, Bert, that unknown thing on the end of the row was a John Deere 2 bottom plow. Fairly popular with smaller tractor guys, it'll bring 200 to 250 as it sets. At least in Indiana it will.
enjoyed the video.
You would look like a boss on that little mitsubishi tractor man, drive around town with a big sign that says scrap King lol
The first couple of spring auctions are always more expensive because of spring fever
good video.
Stay I’m enjoying it. Kansas
Two bottom Plowright, like two shovels. Was I right.? 👍👍💙💚🤗
Plenty of good auction prices didn't get tractor and loader looked up to gether
thanks
That is a two bottom plow, wow.
That little Suzuki looked stock and over here in gods country (the uk),,it would make good money, maybe a grand or more, and the yellow triumph spitfire in the scrap yard the other day is well sought after now, half tidy it wood make ten grand, mgb are highly collectible too, maybe we should start up an export company Burt,,kerrching,,
Guten Tag aus Deutschland 👍
You should have bought the enticer and “sent” it
Miss live auctions we don’t have any around here yet
I can't remember the last one Bert took us to.
Love these types of actions, except for the guys who think they own the items before they even go up for auction.
Gotta tap into your 401K just to keep up with the bidding.
I wish i was there Wisconsin motor trash pump looking for a used one
New sub...you popped up in my youtube feed a cpl days ago. I guess after a decade the algos figured out I'm a farmer. That plow you didn't recognize (called it a hoe) is a moulboard plow. Some of them travel in a circle with the wheels on one side of the tractor down in the furrow it makes. Each successive pass throws dirt in the furrow, but when you get to the middle of the field you wind up with a furrow down through the field. In TX Panhandle circa 1955-1985 we ran roll-over mouldboards that didn't require us to deadhead to the other side of the field with each pass so our furrow ended up on one side of the field with a hump on the other side. Those plow bottoms will shine like new chrome after a hundred acres. Best to grind off some of that rust before beginning or they'll gum up with mud and plow ugly until they begin to shed. Hooked up to a tractor with enough power those plow bottoms will throw dirt 30 inches high. I have two matching 6 bottom roll-over mouldboards we used to break half our farmland each year before Roundup finally killed all our Johnson grass. The mouldboard rolls the J grass rhizomes up on top where winter freezes could kill them.
The little "toothed" wheels in front of the plows are called coulters. Their job is to cut the roots of grass so it'll take a little less muscle-work to pull the plow through the soil.
@@checkyoursix5623 Agree, coulters on some plows are there to cut surface trash (many cases for cornstalks), but on our mouldboard plows they were there to stabilize the plow from zigzagging from side to side. Years ago we used them on our high-speed planter to prevent it moving horizontally so hard it would actually push the tractor off the mark. Coulters adapt for several applications.
That's funny 😄 you never saw a plow before .
We use tiller
those sleds are worth 2500 each in canada where im at..chelsea quebec.
I was stunned when he didn’t know what a plough was am I the only one who found this hard to believe?
Are you talking about the rock rake..... I would suspect if you lived in the area that has been farmed for the last 400 years. It'd be pretty rare to see a rock rake.
It's not a plow it's a rock rake
@@ScrapFarm I live in a place that has been farmed for the past 4 thousand years, for all that time we’ve been picking stones after ploughing for 3990 years by hand now we use a stone picker, around here where I live we use the stones to build walls for fences and houses in the past.
Yeah well most of the rocks were picked up here probably two hundred years ago.... We don't see rock rakes around here pretty much ever.... That's why I didn't know what it was. Thanks for watching and commenting keep plan🪴 ing
It's probably got a lot to do with the peninsula of new jersey being completely underwater..... For a long long time.... It's pretty much just sand here.
went to a farm auction, the bull float went for almost the price of a brand new bull float. the handles! i could have bought new handles as well for the price those extended pieces of fencing, not mag at all. i mean alumanim. not mag. the float is mag.
I wish you stayed for the gravely and see if it ran or not and what price it went for .
Yeah I just couldn't.. Expect many hours sitting around things like that for nothing..
931 dude that's a freaking three bottom plow either by John Deere international McCormick dairy Minneapolis Moline Sears and roebuck they use them all over where I'm from find them in the woods all the time you pull and pull that lever on the top and when you pull the lever the power lift up did you pull the lever again plow drops down

Asking 1500 for a little Mitsubishi garden tractor . The person that bought it is stupid . That little thing cant even mow with a 50 inch deck . There is vary little you can do with something like that .
Yeah here yeah that's why I don't own anything like that....
