The Soul us a great car: accessible, comfortable, good vision, good performance..for a couple or a small family, this is all you need. Good reliability..do all your maintenance and this will serve you well. Package is attractive in and out, but takes it out of being a good value proposition. Sun roof..a ticket to future service issues, needs to be a free-standing optio n. In the higher price class this must compete in, this skates in the territory of a K-5 LXS or the Sportage, Tucson or Santa Cruz triplets. Watch the value aspects if the buy..car is a "green light" but watch your wallet! You know this vehicle well..excellent, detailed review!!
I love the Soul and it's a great value in lower trims, but those options bring it into Seltos and Sportage territory. That's just too much for a Soul. Those vehicles are significantly more substantial and you feel it. Keeping the price to around $22k-$24k and under seems reasonable, which is possible with the base LX and S trim.
Like the easy enter and exit from the vehicle. Also like all the options in the Tech package. Like that the engine is not GDI and is not a turbo (less to go wrong). I think the GT package is well worth, especially if you plan on keeping it long term
Base is the way to go with a $21k car. Adding $7-8k to the price of a budget car seems silly to me. Picked up a base 2025 yesterday and walked away with $21,300 total cost after tax+fees. Companies are having trouble moving inventory especially Jeep Nissan and Kia. It is easy to drive the price down during negotiations in this buyers market.
I have a 2024 Kia Soul GT line. I'm wondering what the differences are between the 2024 and the 2025? I know that I don't have heated seats, but wondering what else is different.
I have a 2024 Kia Soul GT line in gravity grey. It does have heated driver and front passenger seats. I didn’t discern any difference between the 2025 and 2024
Why did the 2025 Soul downgrade the android auto? I just drove a 2024 Soul rental that had wireless android auto. I don't understand the decision making there.
Thanks for tuning in. The emergency brake stays on when you engage it and you must disengage it to move. Auto Vehicle Hold (AVH) keeps the vehicle in place, so you can take your foot off the brake pedal when stopped at a light or in a traffic jam. Once you press the accelerator, the AVH will automatically disengage and the vehicle moves.

Thanks Louis!
I'd buy this Soul, GT-Trim with all the bells and whistles, any day! Great video. 🎉
Thanks! Thank you for tuning in. Much appreciated 👍
I had a 2024 kia soul gt line I loved the car. I’m upgrading to a 2025 Kia soul gt line I loved the performance of these cars so much for so little 😂
Great video, but you forgot to show the lowering of the trunk bed for more space 😊
If LED lights is very important to you, then yes it’s worth the price.

Thanks for the feedback and tuning in 👍
Love the soul 2011, 2016, 2020 have veen in my driveway. It's getting old now time for a bew model!
It is hard to get the car you want from the dealers because Kia sends dealers what they want instead of what the customer wants!

I'm looking for a practical, comfortable new car for my retirement years.... this looks pretty darn good
The Kia Soul is a beautiful vehicle, but a single choice power train of 147 horse power doesn't get it, and Kia stupidly took away the turbo!
Love it !!!

0 difference. It’s a 1 year difference and that’s all. You should know this about cars. lol. Back to back releases show 0 differences 90% of the time

What's the different between emergency brake and auto vehicle hold?!

It's not worth the price! But if it's what you want and you can afford it, go for it!
Does it have google maps?
Need to bring back the turbocharged engine and DCT
The 2021 and 2022 model looks MUCH better. I totally love everything about these cars except the stupid, god awful, ugly grills.
