A good video except you did not do a processor reset by shorting the AC contact to the - strip. You usually can get away without doing it, but sometimes it won't work right without doing it. I speak from experience. I've changed batteries in many Casio, Pulsar, and other brands and many have a similar procedure. Some absolutely won't work without doing it. I just do it out of habit. Hate having to open it back up...

@@truedisciple2897 Insert a pin & touch the gold contact in the AC hole while leaning the pin also on the positive metal plate of the watch. Some watches may not work without doing this.

If your old battery didn't die and if you swap out old to new battery fast enough then the memory should retain.
