This chi master is the worst X-Man ever. Imagine finding out that you have super powers, but instead of adamantium claws or laser eyes, all you get is the mutant power to squish plastic bottles.

I'm taking lessons from this master. Just last week I found myself surrounded by plastic bottles and matchsticks and didn't know what to do. I threw my wallet to the ground and ran away fast. Now, thanks to the great master, I can keep my lunch money and thwart those devils. Thanks McDojo for leading me to this chi master.

It sounds like one of those 10 hour rain videos you find on UA-cam rather than actual rain.
I was obsessed with magic as a kid, and spent countless hours practicing and researching techniques to mess with my friends. I even did a couple shows. As a result, I'm now very good at reverse engineering magic tricks. It's surprising how many tricks you can pull off with just a handful of techniques and gimmicks.
This guy is obviously a student of basic magic. He's wicked lazy though. There are better, cleaner, ways of pulling off some of these tricks without resorting to hiding behind overdubs and camera angles. Heck, with a little effort, this guy could do kids' birthday parties. It probably doesn't pay as well as Supreme Grandmaster Kung Fu Cult Leader, though.
Where was the heat gun in the last vid? I know he put it somewhere but that vid was actually kind of well done (kinda)
I'm thinking he used to do children's birthday parties, but that gig money dried up when COVID hit.
I did RNG magic when i was teen, basicaly i told someone to pick a card from the deck and Then i had small chance i guess which card it was, by pure luck i got it right 2 times and Thoose people were like im a wizzard.

It must take a whole lot of positive thinking and imagination to believe you can do that and actually make it happen, with the proper preparation, but that’s the part they don’t show you, you don’t see the time, effort, practice to get to that point and end result, you just see the easy part, Mr. great and powerful wizard of OZ, interesting how some of his hand and finger moves and gestures are similar to when a magician is doing their illusion trick

The best thing is he moves and acts like a magician the way he shows you the objects for the trick and that his hands are empty. Like he just hasn't even tried to make it look like anything other than a magic trick.
In the thunderstorm video, all I can think is that he looks like Rob Halford doing magic tricks for his nephews or something. Aside from that, I really love how he keeps all the mannerisms of a straight up magician, rather than a martial artist. You'd think he'd work on suppressing the strange magician physical patter and at least give it more of a Kung fu theater flair to try and buy a little more credibility.

So the last one with the lighting of the matches. When you reproduced it with the heat gun, you had to position the heat gun super close to get a similar result. In his video he had nothing even remotely close to the matches. So if it was a heat gun it would have to be blowing pretty hard from off camera but there were no signs of anything blowing. And when his matches ignited they ignited straight up and in a controlled manner, not like they were being blown. When your matches ignited they erupted rapidly and were blown to the side. Any thoughts on how this was accomplished? Thanks for the videos

It’s funny because his description is like a movie martial artists, and these are classic magic tricks. I know a bunch. And you can buy people’s secrets to learn those tricks, but atleast the magician is open about what you’re getting
