Though to be fair, the imprint of the hand motion in the Hadouken has been there since Alpha. If you look at Akuma doing the Zanku Hadouken, you'd noticed the hand imprint. Ken has it too in Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter (the only game where Ken has the Zanku Hadouken)
The way they made Akuma strong in a lot of things (Combos, Damage, Fireballs, ETC..) yet it has the lowest health and defense it just a brilliant character design in my opinion and thats what it makes it one of my favorite characters of all games.
Some pro tips on Akuma: Akuma is battle rush character, he is one of those dudes who ends a battle pretty quick, with either him losing or you. Because of this, many players assume defensive positions and slowly kill akuma. The best way to use Akuma is to just do what he is known for-his unpredictability. Akuma's juggle capabilities are vast, battling even Urien's, the juggle-naut. Use the Ashura Senku only to STAY AWAY from opponents and attacks, do not use them to approach the opponent, for its ending frames are extremely vulnerable. Mix them in your games for more unpredictability. The Demon Flip Throw is one of the best things, use it. Also, try using Shakunetsu Hadokens as much as possible, especially the 3 hit one, for it takes some time to charge, and this delay often messed up the opponents timing. When performing Raging Demons, make sure you hit confirm, also perform them only if you are close enough. KKZ is very powerful if used right. It's made of two parts-one initial lightning strike with high damage, and the others are hits from shockwaves. Use it as an effective anti-air, and performing it while dashing is almost lethal for the opponent Players usually identify the strategy you are using in battle, and use it to their advantage. This is why Akuma is uniquely powerful, he has got lots of mixups and strategies, so use hime wisely. Attack only when needed, and attack with devastating combos. SuperBonus- If done right, a light hadoken (ground) CAN be cancelled to a Raging Demon(ShunGokuSatsu)

+Sf Master To parry you must read your opponent's moves. To learn combos you must practice Akuma's moves and or watch combo videos. Alternatively, you can watch my Akuma Playthrough for some basic combos and strategies.
Man I haven't touched sf3 since it was an arcade cabinet back in early 2000...I was playing a bunch of gangstas (real gangstas), one friend lost to my Ken and the next thing I know, there's a line of guys dressed all in blue surrounding me... Pretty scary...I beat 3 guys in a row before I realized...oh crap...idk any one of these 15 dudes... They weren't angry lol... They simply reverted back to being a gamer and I played those guys for 2 hours before they gave up and just let me beat Gill to beat the game... It was in a club where for some reason it was just by the bar.... One day I'm going to buy sf3 and alpha and put it along with the the ones I already have... I've got Killer Instinct 2, double dragon, 3 pinball machines and Tekken 5 so far...I still want Final Fight, Dungeons and Dragons Shadow over Mysteria, Alien vs Predator (the beat em up), SF II Champion Edition, TMNT (I ALMOST bought the mini one at Walmart), Marvel vs Capcom 1, and as many pinballs as I can afford lol

@@tonitoniversus i feel that, CVS 2 also has survival , groove edit and color mode which makes it 10x more addicting than third strike. But third strike is by far more aesthically pleasing. Both being top 5 fighting games ever lol

Only if I had a working FBA emulator version to try it because the combo wants so much buttons pressed and the input has a feature which you press 1 button that counts for 3 (kicks/punches) . Or a controler... IDK... You do know that people don't want you to lie to them but are also not going to believe you if you are telling the truth, right? I really don't know about the video I sent here if it's mugen or not, but I think it's not mugen. I don't see any signs of mugen there. Also check how many DDDD (Downs) were made for that. Maybe somebody can import a script of the input to try the combo of keys or something.

Is Shun Goku Satsu possible in the mame version. I've been trying to pull it off but to no avail. Also the AI was lenient on me so I tried a lot times in a round but could not do it .In Alpha 3, I could do it more often.
Pull each move neatly and correctly. To begin with, start practicing the move combination slowly, by pressing LP twice, hitting right arrow and then pressing LK and HP consecutively. After doing it slowly, you'll get the hang of it
Maybe you're not pressing all three punch buttons or when you press them it doesn't work if you're using a keyboard, it blocks itself if you press too many buttons close to one another. Remap them if that's the case until it works.
What Jay said. Ryu's access to EX moves gives him a better ability to budget his meter usage and allows him to get better damage/combos at certain meter profiles. I would definitely say Akuma is a stronger character, but he is not merely an enhanced version of Ryu.
It's because the video is 30fps, they are rendered at 60fps I think, it's why they don't show up. KOF'98 loses a lot of effects at 30fps. Sadly, UA-cam did not support 60fps at the time.
It's not a new move though, it's just a kara canceled Raging Demon. These sort of techniques are too advanced for my movelist videos which are supposed to have all the basic content and be entertaining too.

EAZIIMAN OHH no trust me nothing is more Op as gill he can resurrect himself which is extremely cheap ,destroy you with a move that covers the entire screen and can make it rain fireballs ... So yeah gill is pretty good And oro is on the same level as akuma as well he has a vast amount of powerful attacks

That’s why Hadouken means surge fist in Japanese.
Actually the imprint of the two hands inside the Hadoken has been there since Street Fighter II The World Warrior (1991).

Akuma is stupidy overpowered in this game
yea so was ryu man that that light dp and heel kick
EAZIIMAN well I geuss but akuma has SOO many options compared to the rest of the characters I mean both the raging demon and the ground wave attack plus a variety of other supers he can choose from

Yea he Probaly was meant to be the final boss but the developers decided to go with gill.
Akuma Woulda been a better fit as the final boss than gill
EAZIIMAN OHH no trust me nothing is more Op as gill he can resurrect himself which is extremely cheap ,destroy you with a move that covers the entire screen and can make it rain fireballs ... So yeah gill is pretty good
And oro is on the same level as akuma as well he has a vast amount of powerful attacks
