I did a high side at that exact same corner after a brilliant day setting up the bike for Brands Hatch the next day. Got knocked out, broke both arms and wrote off the bike!! I am glad you were lucky enough to get away with that!!
@@1000sofusernames truth, it already does, I haven't ridden since Halloween cause my arm broke when I went through the back window of a tourist morons car who slammed the brakes mid corner to do a U turn. I wasn't tailgating but didn't react fast enough
This one track martial is a goof. - 0:55 There is always one of these guys at every race or track session. I'm all about rider safety but lining up the group to enter the track is a time for riders to focus and get their head correct. Not the time to cow tow to some overbearing volunteer that's eager to make them look stupid for not falling in line. Why do some volunteers get like this? its like they feel they get the green light to be cheeky. Anyways, glad your get off was a nice easy rear slide and not a high side. Time for the bike to spend some time in the shop and you to figure out what went wrong. Happy racing. Cheers!
He’s not a volunteer, dumbass. He’s an employee of the track day organising company and having a joke with his friends. They all know each other because they are always at the track days.
Ouch - and thankful that he was all OK. It does look like that dust was likely to blame for losing grip. I managed to lock my front wheel up for the first time in my riding life as I approached Barn on my first ever track day in the 90s - eyes wide open in fright thinking ‘I’m going into the trees, I’m going into the trees… ‘. Thankfully on releasing the lever I was able to pitch the fireblade into the adverse camber right hander - I rode rather sedately for the rest of the session!
Bummer dude ! but Cadwell can do that to you on cold tires, The left side stays cold for much longer than the right, Plus you were a bit off the throttle going through that ,that doesn't help either, I did the same thing at the top of the goose neck on the left , cold tires
Hes got a brand new gsxr750 now. Stepped up the game, doing low 1:40 now ;) he still loves that track despite falling off nearly every time hes been to cadwell :D
@@HORNET6 It's all relative when there are capable bikes doing over 2:20 in Novice and 1:50 puts you at the pointy end of Inters, which is not bad for a 16 year old bike.
Always fun hitting the eject button at Cadwell, I’ve ridden Fast grp there plenty of times and low sided out of Barn (cold tyres) and high sided out of Park (stupidity), never got off at Coppice tho, fwiw the inters are the suicide group, too many “I’m not a novice” weekend warriors to be safe. Long time back now.
You don't get cold tires from multiple laps at a track with these sweeping turns and long straights. He tried to hard brake at access lean angle. You can't do that.

If that's what it means to be in the Fast Group I'll stick with the Intermediates. That was a very fast crash sir, so glad you're alright.
see the guy in the green has a brand new slick on the rear, once you get this far your in the zone
2.30 the difference between fast and genuinely fast
It's a strange and scary sensation when the sky and the ground change places like that.
Why is the organiser winding them up?
cuz the guy who opens up a third lane. at the end he is only joking 😜

The driver does not seem to make an error. I hope he is well. As you think it is likely that dust is the cause of the slip
oil???
Cold tyres?
Hi mate, was there much damage to the bike after the crash ? I seen in the comments you said he was back riding on the Sunday, was it on that bike ?
Hej, gdzie ten tor? Nie ma to jak szlif przy dużej prędkości, pozdrawiam.
Jesus mate. I hope that didn't hurt too much. What caused you to lose grip?
Bloody hell scary watching how fast that lap was . Hope you didn't get hurt to badly ?
Eeek, not slow there… hope he was ok?

Fair play to the guys pace. 1:55 on a 600cc where as I'm 1:50 on a 1000cc.

Still got some way to go then.
It's not a superbike track that's why... 600 supersports are only 3 seconds a lap slower than the superbikes round cadwell
1:50 on a thou is slow round Cadwell.

look on the track right before he starts into the turn????????????????????????
Looked like oil dry to me
Dust that absorbs oil
There’s absolutely no need to slow down for that corner anyway.
It's really hard to spot the fault ...slight trajectory off line ... tough break
Hay, this make more sense. You tube videos of responsible riders going fast at a track.
They'll never sell any ice creams riding that fast!
You're telling all the right jokes but not necessarily in the right context.

Given power in the corner. Lost traction.
