This is very interesting to see the process! Great macro photos. My favorite was the leaves in the water, but I also liked the moss covered stump. Thank you for sharing how you do this!
That's a really great video, chill, and you have a very calming voice. I intend to purchase a similar K&F Concept Tripod (actually, the one with the arm where you can clip your camera horizontally). Do you have your tripod since a long time ? Are you happy with it ? Some people have concerns about flimsy legs and poor stability in wind
Thank you so much. That tripod is the one with the extension arm. I bought it specifically to use with a camera to copy negatives. It’s definitely not a high end tripod. The legs are flimsy, but it is quite light and travels well. It’s not a $300 tripod priced at $99, it’s a $99 tripod priced at $99. 🤷🏻♂️
Love the spider web focus stack...... that was interesting stuff. Which version of Affinity Photo are you using? V1 or V2 (v2 was just released this month) FYI - way late in getting the link to the macro video up. At least my expectation is that when you point, that is when it should come up on the screen 🤣
I’m still on V1. Probably upgrading the V2 this weekend. The timing of the end cards is a UA-cam thing. The creator has little control of it. They pop up 20 sec before the end.
@@VintageInsightPhotography But you control what is happening at the last 20 second mark 🤣 Yes, even after all these years, I am still a pain in the arse 😀 But I did like the focus stack..... that was good and I learned something today
Cool technique - really brings out some amazingly sharp details!
And, it’s drop-dead easy! I might try it with a film camera. Manually move the focus and then digitally stack. 🤔
Brilliant video! Enjoy macro photography! Focus merge very interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it.
I like your easy to follow style, even non fuji users can learn from this, as most cameras have similar stacking facilities.
Thank you so much. Your comments are really appreciated. I really enjoy putting together these more tutorial style videos. I need to do more of them.
