I have a 22 Commander xt-p. I installed your dual rate spring kit, Huge difference in ride quality. I disconnected the front sway bar just to see if it made the ride better. I was very surprised how it helped the ride and it did not add a lot of body roll. We ride pretty slow and more or less creep through the woods. Do you see any negative effect doing this with our riding style. We never ride high speed and generally ride at Hatfield McCoy and other atv parks. Thanks
The rear bar on the Commander is pretty stiff so that helps. For slow speed riding as you describe, front sway bar off is a great setup.
I thought Can Am’s Smart-Shox was the first to do both compression and rebound? I remember lots of advertisements about them saying the first to do both.
A LOT OF AWESOME INFORMATION THANKS THAT EXPIANIED ALOT
I sensed some dissing of another Shock tuning company in the industry, and it is hilarious
Never!
Didnt know sway bars had a rate thats good to know that being said do you have any idea what a pro xp front sway bar rate is? Currently have mine off to let the suspension travel more freely in the rougher trails but id be interested in possibly a softer rate bar up front
About 150 lbs. 👍🏼
WHAT IS A GOOD HEIGHT FOR A CANAM MAX,WHAT IS THE HEIGHT OF YOUR PRE-RUNNERS , RACE CARS. THANK YOU
With 32” tires we set up at 15.5 to 16.5” ride height. This will change if you have a taller tire. Sometimes we go 14” for qualifying then back up for the race.
Body Roll is the relation of the body in relation to the suspension.
La lot what is here described a body roll, is actually the vehicle tipping.
Bady roll as a great effect on the suspension system.

I would love to hear yalls opinion on these shock relocation lift kits. I did one once on a worn out 800 rzr and it seemed to help, but I doubt that would be always the case.
In general we are not fans of any relocation lift kit. They will be stiffer and you have a huge chance of over traveling the system and breaking axles. You can get the same lift with a proper spring kit. No relocation and no danger of axle issues or a rougher ride.
Extremely well explained!!
Question on the smart shox. Wondering if they can be electronically be updated as the years go on, to keep up with the new technology. Or will it be entirely new systems?
In theory they can. But we have not seen any updates yet
Can you revalve the walker links to still function well for articulation and limit body roll?
No. They are one or the other.
Make a bar for the Rangers!
I installed your rear sway bar and sway bar links on my 2022 X3 XRS. I also am running a set of super atv high clearance trailing arms. Can you tell me how long roughly my links should be since the sway bar link mount on my trailing arms are 1.5” farther back than stock? At 7 3/4” they don’t even reach at full droop. Thanks!
You should cycle the system to check. At full droop adjust them so that the bar and the links are just before they are in a straight line. They should never travel too far or over cam forward. That’s what you want to avoid. 👍🏼
Have you guys heard anything bout 4seat pros recall something bout fuel tank/pump leaking causing fire's? I work for polaris outfitter, and no one seems to know or understand details
It’s Pro xp and Turbo R. My Turbo R doesn’t leak but has the stop ride recall on it because it could leak.
Have not heard. We have a 4 seat pro and have not received anything from Polaris. 👍🏼
We do rentals and guided tours in AZ we have 11 machines polaris contacted us about, seems about 4months of production last year pro xp and pro r issues but only 4seat version from what I heard 5 machines caught fire that started whole thing
Love listening to you guys so much info find my self watching/rewatching can't overstate how educational vids are on sxs world
@@matstruve8930 thank you for the heads up 👍🏼
FYI I'm pretty sure the original rzr 800 (non S, 50") had both front and rear sway bars. The S version only had a rear. Obviously no comparison to the 1000 but technically the first "Sport" UTV was prly the orginal rzr lol
🤘🏻
What's your guys opinion on the Speed UTV having a lot of body roll? Will this perform as well in the sand dunes as it does in the dirt?
Body roll is personal preference. Usually the dunes require more bar. We have not driven a speed UTV yet so we can’t offer any advice for you. Everyone will see soon I imagine. 🤘🏻
When are we getting a tour of the chase truck ?
We did one of the old truck and trailer two years ago. Take a look
Why no love for the krx 100.down on power but great suspension!
It’s my favorite from a geometry stand point. Just not enough power for what we do
What is the "ideal" ride height for a xp4 1000 with 32" tires?
If the tires measure true 32" you should have roughly 16"
@@tylerraffensberger3756 sweet! Looks like my boys at "fineline suspension" nailed it then. Feels like it too!
What kind of tune I need to fly throw the whips. Done the gold package but still bucks.
There are many factors. Give us a call and ask for Mike green. We will get you dialed in
next step comp.controll should be to push cabin even over the horizontal leval, leaning-diving a bit into the corner side...you should do !! i have your shocks and both swaybars, the bars make a huge progress, now only tires and shocks are moving, more feeling to drive, rainer from switzerland
Thank you for your input 🤘🏻
I don't see a front sway bar for a 64" x3. Best way to remove some roll from it for a ice oval race?
So you have a bar on the front of a DS. We don’t make a stiffer one because the upper arm, sway bar link mount gets in the way. It’s the same bar tho. So if you buy our stiffer bar you can run it if you make your own link mounts on the upper arm. If that’s too much to do the a shorter stiffer spring package with the cross over ring lowered is the best way since you don’t have whoops on the ice. Good luck. 🤘🏻
So dimensionally how is your bar differ from my factory one?
@@cboutdoorfun9955 externally it’s the same but it’s larger in diameter which gains stiffness. It requires its own style bushings and billet bushing blocks. It’s also 3 hole adjustable.
Does anyone know, is there a sliding "Manual" front sway bar "disconnect" out there avalible , similar to how the electric HALO system works but just the manual splined coupler that can be used to manually turn the front on/off?
On a X3 is there a good compromise when you want a front bar for higher speeds resisting roll mostly when long distance traveling to and from a area, but also want the full articulation in the front when required quickly and tooless? Dont want a Link just tied out of the way if there is a good solution out there, as well as a quicker cleaner on/off solution.
Not that we have seen
Can you use scales to set your buggy up
Absolutely
Do you use scale's
@@johngeary8534 yes
Would you do a segment on scale's please..
@@johngeary8534 anything in particular besides how to scale and percentages?
