This was me completely when I did my first start on a 4b12 lancer I just rebuilt from shell. I didn’t have leaks till it was heated up and coolant started flowing lol sick video buddy. I got here from your bumper light video for the wiring. Much appreciated.
Honestly can’t wait till I reach 500 hp on my Evo, still on my money n life grind but also was curious on what you do beside youtube to help support your Evo and other car builds? Love your channel btw keep up the good work 😁
ITS ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRO I'm so freaking geeked for you right now!!!! Its been a long time coming and I'm glad to see that everything went well and started on the first try! Keep it going bro cant wait to see those dyno numbers
Hell yeah, congrats in the first start!! I was just setting up my datalog setup, and was having issues with my wideband not logging in EvoScan like you. I ordered my serial to USB adapter from Amazon, and had to manually install a driver for it rather than the one that automatically installed. After I got that driver installed, it successfully connected.
@@ChrisDoesCars The computer kept claiming it was connected, but EvoScan didn't show anything connected under the Wideband tab. The Serial to USB adapter had a FTDI chip in it so I had to get that driver directly from FTDI's website. Once I reinstalled that driver, it immediately showed up in the Wideband tab in EvoScan and connected successfully for logging.
@@ChrisDoesCars Just plugging the adapter in and letting it auto-install the driver, the computer itself recognized the adapter and showed that I had a serial to USB connected to it. However, EvoScan that was not recognizing it. Then, after manually installing the driver, both the computer and EvoScan recognized it.
Bro I'm so emotionally invested in this car and to hear it start 🕺🏿😁🥳😭😊😎 sheeesh... now its just some fine tuning nd shell be gapping Subis in no time. LMK when she on the road, would love to come thur nd take pics of both our cars 😁
Nuff respect youthie, must watch channel. I may need to order those break lines too mysel. My 800hp build is on the way, so I'm definitely gonna need more stopping power. Don't trust that funny sound though...congrats,but be cautious.
@@ChrisDoesCars I been slowly working on building up my channel as well maybe we can get a duo vlog in also on both our cars, I been doing shorts mainly on UA-cam
No idea. Honestly tho it may have been because the the surface where the seal makes contact with the trans wasn’t cleaned off well enough. He ended up using some 1000 grit sand paper and just smoothed it out
I was smiling so hard like I wasn’t recording 🤣 still so exciting. So proud of you!
Thanks hon 😊

Nice man! So was it connecting prior to you manually installing the drivers? Mine will connect to my laptop, just won’t read properly 😓
