I got the same fender eliminator for my 696 and it looks awesome!!! It's a pain to hide all the wires and the key lock cable. Thanks for your instructional video, I found it very useful.

didn't need to remove entire tail assembly. i found mine torqued on too tight to remove without an impact wrench. evotech instructions only require removal of the 4 rubber mounted bolts plus the 2 bolts holding the locking mechanism.
@44thavenuestudios Yes get the Evotech. I purchased the Competition Werkes and it came with ok instructions but with this video the Evotech will be a breeze to put on.
@DMNThieu It's evotech. I bought it off another rider on ducatimonsterforum. But you can probably find it on google / ebay. Don't get anything that would require metal work. It probably is just a generic kit then.
Nice job of making instructional vid. Do you ride in the rain or on wet roads much? I'm wondering if you get much spray on your back with this kit. I want to do this to my 796 but worry about that.

oh cool, Im in northern NJ, i ride an 03 sv650, where do you typically ride? the only nice roads I've found somewhat close-by is Bear Mountain.
I see you used a torxstar tool. Does that cover all the hex key sizes needed for the Duc?

Looks like you could leave the latch attached to the top plate instead of taking it off
