I had the pleasure of seeing Carlos Nakai perform at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff sometime in the early '90s. What a beautiful setting for some really beautiful music. There were pine trees and mountains outside the open French doors and it actually started raining while he was playing. It was absolutely magical. It sounded just like this video...only I got to experience it in person. It was one of my most memorable moments.
He is my most favorite all time favorite Native American Flute player. I wish I could meet him.
