  • Best luggage for international travel and what I use for travel. It is not so much as specific luggage brands as for a type of luggage. The airline rules are many and they drastically change with the price and the class of ticket. It can range from no check-in to 3 luggage at 32 kg each. Exact weights are also becoming standard across the industry as machines are taking over the human handlers that might have allowed you more flexibility.

    I used 4 of those Samsonite duffel bags when I moved Canada to west Africa. I actually put 2 book boxes in each bag and roped the two boxes together to give some more structure. Packed with 50 lbs. each and they worked like a charm!

    great video , I realised you know what your talking about when you got to the duffel bag. I actually flew with 2 x laundry bags once and 99% of the 2 x 23kg was not wasted on baggage weight. The disadvantage with the landry bags is that the zipper can be week, so I will check out this samsonite one. I usually go for the old school large laptop bag as they always allow a laptop as an additional carry on. some of those horrible late 90's laptop bags were massive :)

    I have the same white C-Lite, with differente closure (like the S'CURE one model) and I'm really happy with it as it make also the closure more rubust.
    For the cleaness of the luggage, yes it can get dirty because is white, but I can assure that if you clean your luggage it will be white and shine again.
    The product is not fiber glass, but woven polypropylene and it is incleadibly durable and robust.

Where did you find the belt love the ability for small Items and your info about keys I had no idea that a handcuff key was so useful will now be carrying mine and the 7. lastly your choice in luggage is what many others have chosen unfortunately I have had bad luck with Samsonite large soft bag just gave it to second hand store the wheels are the pits.

    Hello Mario,
    I have a question. If you travel with metal keys inside that zippered belt, don’t they cause the TSA scanners to go off?

    • @MarioStingerPerpetualTraveller
      @MarioStingerPerpetualTraveller  2 роки тому +3

      If you are TSA-Pre, you wouldn't need to remove your belt. If not, they will force you to remove it whether it is made of plastic or metal. I have a pair of shorts with a "belt" that is stitched to it and can't be removed. 90 % of the time they ask me to remove it and I have to tell them that I can't. The L3 body scanner will detect the key for sure. The 6 Zone Portal shouldn't, it is not sensitive enough.

      Hello, it is well rated, but at 9lb for the 24" and 11" for 28", it would depend on how much light and big stuff you carry. 9 lb is 1/5 of your allowed weight in Economy Class. So, that's not that light, but it is overall great for the price.
