great video , I realised you know what your talking about when you got to the duffel bag. I actually flew with 2 x laundry bags once and 99% of the 2 x 23kg was not wasted on baggage weight. The disadvantage with the landry bags is that the zipper can be week, so I will check out this samsonite one. If you are TSA-Pre, you wouldn't need to remove your belt. If not, they will force you to remove it whether it is made of plastic or metal. I have a pair of shorts with a "belt" that is stitched to it and can't be removed. 90 % of the time they ask me to remove it and I have to tell them that I can't. The L3 body scanner will detect the key for sure. The 6 Zone Portal shouldn't, it is not sensitive enough.

I don’t have a case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max, so doing it for a luggage is not my style. Also, in a lot of countries, they would just cut it off. Good idea though :)
i owned the 2nd one, it didn t take 6months before the shell was broken around the wheels and other places , also the rubber connection point between the 2 sides was torn in no time
Because a lot of times, it is not travel, it is relocation to other country with everything we own, including the car. So, we have to do it differently.
I'm the opposite, I prefer high quality soft-sided luggage for check in, and the nice hard side with USB port for carry on lol. Victorinox is my preferred brand

Hello, it is well rated, but at 9lb for the 24" and 11" for 28", it would depend on how much light and big stuff you carry. 9 lb is 1/5 of your allowed weight in Economy Class. So, that's not that light, but it is overall great for the price.
Thank you, i traveling international for 3 weeks and having hard time choosing the Delsey Chatelet series 21 in and 24. I live this luggage and yes it is heavy.
For me, it is all about weight. Anyone can open your luggage without any problems; hard or soft. If the softcover is lighter and has more inside space take it. My carry-on is soft. My check-in is hard.
@MarioStingerPerpetualTraveller Thanks for your video...I just ordered the Travelpro Crew carryon after much research. That has a pocket for a battery.
Making you check a carry on at the gate creates a problem not a solution. What I put in the carry-on cannot be checked. It has to stay with me (iD, money, electronics, lunch... my pockets aren't deep enough) . That's the whole point of a carry-on.
No, that’s the purpose of the backpack or the purse. If you are in business class or elite you will always be allowed to keep your carry-on with you. If you are in economy in a full flight, it would be 50/50 once at the gate

Hello Mario,
