Hi. Great video, I really like your swing! =P I hope you do well Zac on the tournament Qualf. and get trought to the actually tournament! See you when we'll see ya Zac & Mike!
What does the qualifying course looks like? Is it similar to your home course? Will it be toughen up for the qualifying round like letting the rough grow, drying up the greens, cutting the greens short to make them faster, and cutting the holes at tricky spots, and at uneven parts of the greens?
Golf Science Guru Old school style course. Has a few similarities to my home course with the slopes and hills. I am sure the pin locations will be a bit tough and they will probably be rolling pretty quick! Will be heading out in the next couple days for a practice round and will know more after that!
Hey Zac! Love the stuff you put out. Quick question. I have a few buddies that want to do a golf trip this summer. Any recommendations on courses for an affordable price in the Northeast/East Coast? Thank a lot!
So glad you enjoy the content Zachary! Unfortunately I haven’t golfed much in the Northeast/East Coast but in the South there is a golf trail called Robert Trent Jones and they are very affordable and some really great tracks! This trail is in Alabama and probably my favorite two which are actually right by each other are Fighting Joe and The Schoolmaster! By the way cool name bro 👊
Thanks Zac!! Really helps! Btw, going to be visiting my brother down in Nashville late June. Playing a cheaper course called Ted Rhodes. Looking forward to visiting the city and playing some golf down there!
I've been given the same drill as you Zac, and it's really difficult without a club in your hand. I was told to practice against a wall and without a club, it doesn't feel the same. My question to you though is, when you transition from the backswing to the downswing, does it almost feel like you're trying to do a mini squat to keep your glutes against that 'wall'? Or is more you're using the ground or your feet to push backwards essentially? Awesome video, good luck in the big leagues!
Hey Sam! Yes practicing without a club doesn’t quite feel the same but is good to practice just to get the movement down. I have the feel in the transition to the downswing of left hip high and rotated. I would probably fall more in line with the mini squat to keep my glutes against the wall. So glad you enjoyed and thanks so much!!
bro... straight real talk... I am a big UA-cam golf follower... started with watching the god fathers of UA-cam golf rich shields and my favorite UA-cam golfer ( peter finch) who has the sexiest swing ever.... No homo... found the golfihalics channel and fell in love.. no homo..... but real talk you are the best UA-cam golfer.. and if you went to yt golf open you would wipe the floor with the completion... ps... Andy Carter will win yt open... but if brain b frin golfihalics was playing he would give you a run for your money... brain has the most straight and consistent drive off the tee box I have ever seen... even more straight and consistent then peter finchs..
bro your hands are to close to your body... I have seen a common trend in the modern golf swing where everyone is bringing thier hands in to close to thier body
Really appreciate your awesome support and maybe one day I’ll get the opportunity to compete in the UA-cam Cup! Yes my hands are fairly close to my body. This gives me a better feel for where the club head is!
Do you struggle with early extension in the golf swing? The drill we work on in this video might help!
So excited for you 👊🏼👊🏼 Enjoy the process. 💯
