We visited Rock City & Rock City Gardens and were very impressed by this natural wonder perched on the top of Lookout Mountain. It is located nearby Chattanooga Tennessee though is officially in Georgia.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable 1 hour hike through whimsical surroundings with rock bridges, a fun and shaky swing bridge, gnomes, waterfalls, an extensive fairy tale display called Fairyland Caverns, plus beautiful views where you can see 7 states on a clear day. Definitely plan on spending around 2 hours or more there, and bring plenty of water because it can get HOT during the summer.
