Killed my biggest buck ever October 27 with 125 gr. 2.25” cut swhacker. Shot was 58 yds and he fell in his tracks!! Thanks to you and your dad because y’all are why I started shooting them.
Swackers are the best crossbow broadheads they are reliable and really do leave Massive blood trails. Not like the Deer wounding Orange crossbow X with the plastic shock collar.
I will not use anything else than Swhacker broad heads. I shoot both 100gn and 125gn. My 125's are silver instead of black though. Thanks for the video buddy.
IDK I use the 2 inch “the green ones” LOL and I’ve had 5 inch exit wounds.I would hate to see what kind of damage the 3 inch does, idk if anything would be left.
Great vid,a lot of good info. I use the 100 grain 2” with my compound and have had nothing but good experiences with them. I just got a crossbow and thinking about the 3 blade but if not it’ll be the crossbow version either way it’s Shwacker for me.
I've killed at least 15 deer with the 2" cut green swhacker out of a compound bow, they are devastating! Just bought a pack of the 125gr 2.25" cut models for my crossbow and I have no doubts it will work great, thanks for the video, good stuff.
howdy.... what is the shrink band used for...storage or is it needed for the launch of the bolt? this may sound like someone who has never used a mechanial broadhead...YOU BE RIGHT!!
Not sure if its true or not but i heard that the crossbow heads the damn band was to strong that holds the blades closed....dont hold me to that it may be total bullshit..i love the green ones thats the only ones i shoot in my bow and crossbow,, my speed may not be fast as others mine is 320 fps and no problems.
Them shrink fit tubes do they actually have to be on the broad heads as u shoot every time please explain in full just dont like how there flapping around
wtf are you talking about? Of course they need to be on the broadhead? It keeps the blades closed. If you take it off, the blades will be flapping around. You literally answered your own question.
You know what I have looked at those broadheads the slacker and they seem to be built really nice and I have even shot them to try them out but you should let everybody know that they do not fly like a field tip that's probably why they give you a practice head to sight in with cuz I even Shop with a practice head and a 20 yards every shot when an inch to the left of where my field Point hit so they are not Field Point accuracy like you say they are and that really bums me out
The green ones shoot exactly the same as my field points in my barnett recruit crossbow,, it shoots 320 fps i think is what it said..no problems for me,, sorry yours didnt do right for ya..
@@EthanPDobbins i bet that dude cant shoot better than 1 inch groups with his field points alone, yet he bitches about one inch to the left... my advise to him is this,,, hold swhacker on a bolt against forehead and fall on face from off a chair....problem solved.. i dont mind one ince to left..
Where you able to try out the 3" Swhacker crossbow heads? I haven't seen much on the internet regarding these broadheads. The one picture and one video that I did see shows devastating results. It looks like a good choice for when you need to drop the deer quickly.
I shot a doe with the 3 inch...she took it 40 yards and was dead. I was extremely pleased with them. I will not shoot another broadhead. Been shooting them the last 4 years and have not had a failure nor have I lost an animal. I did use other mechanical broadheads before these and I couldn’t make the same statement. These are amazing products. Good luck in your upcoming season. I hope it’s safe and bountiful. God Bless.

Great job explaining the differences. These were exactly the questions I had. Now knowing the differences, I would have to agree with your assessment.
Swhacker crossbow broadheads are now with 150gr 3" cut dia

What’s your thoughts on the 3” they have out for crossbows
They look like a copy of the Vortex broadhead. The Vortex has been out since 1980's.
So the Green tip 2 is the #207?
They don't make a 150 grain?

Holds blade's closed in flight .
What is the difference between broadheads that say are made for crossbows and the ones that are shot with compound bow?

An inch to the left you cant complain about that. Thats a dead deer

SWHACKER IS MADE IN TAIWAN .
Once they run out of stock they will be made in USA
Top 4 all swhacker imagine that your a promotional setup for the product you test nothing else but that's ok
How bout your new 150grain 3 inch crossbow swhacks I just got em in the mail they look wicked can't wait to shoot a deer with them!
Those are another great option. This video was made before the 150gr was available.
I’ll be trying them out on osceolas this spring!

Would the green swhacker work well with a crossbow shooting at 385fps??
Mine does well at 320 fps but yours lil bit faster. But id say no problems for you..I've shot a few slick heads with them and like them.
Absolutely my does 440 fps they dont open till I side the animal
