Sandra Westley uk, what doesn’t seem to have registered is when you have a young family, relaxing and sleeping you’ve said goodbye to for a good 10 years or more. A weekend cottage sounds great but as stated earlier it’s double the work, because you have 2 houses to maintain. Your best bet for relaxation is to hire a cottage where someone else has done the work, and it probably is cheaper in the long run. You buy a stair gate, don’t they have those things in Canada, it keeps the kids off the stairs, not only that, we use them here at the top and bottom of the stairs.
I'm sorry, I thought this was truly going to be a "cottage." I can see that our definitions of cottage vary wildly. And even though I don't begrudge others their happiness, I'm never going to be able to relate to someone with $600,000 to spend on their weekend home!
I'm only seconds in, but how the f does a couple this young, with young children, afford a _second bleeping house_ ??? I'm never going to stop throwing up. Oh and they don't want a fixer-upper. Bless their little hearts.
Maybe it is because I'm a lover of the Tiny House Movement that my stomach feels sick with the ideas of this couple in regards to the "cottages" they are looking at.
He talked about his son playing video games while in the 3rd house’s living room... why do you want your kids having video games when they’re supposed to be playing outside in the lake/woods/outside? He also seems a bit confused on what he really wants, and with his bug comments, I’m not sure if he really wants to be there much at all!
I felt something was really off with the husband. I don't know if he was on medication or maybe stoned. Gave me a weird vibe. Wife seems like she's the glue that holds it all together. He seems like a boy who doesn't know what he wants.
Rob is so patient with his clients and tries, his best, to provide what they are looking for in the properties he represents.
"so this is the woods..." 😂🤣🤣
Oiy we used to call them "yuppies" . Husband whiney, unrealistic ideas of what a cottage is ( for 600K) this was amusing .. the agent is a saint.
Dude you are in the woods, expect bugs!
Brilliant find Rob and great choice from the couple.

A cottage is never ending work its not a sit and do nothing :) His comment sounds like he doesnt have a clue what cottages need. Good luck
I feel BAD for the wife. She seems to be a lot more understanding and clear on her requirements !

OMG that guy is a fool.

Dude goes to the woods and complains about bugs. Wtf.
I think he loves the idea of a cottage more than the reality.
I paid $85,000 for a 1920s log cabin on water...thinking I got a GREAT deal :)

Yuck. He is just your basic frat boy. Emphasis on boy. Good luck, wifey.
I could go for any of these houses!
I only liked the first one. But Rattlesnake Road?😮😵💫
poor woman

If anyone figures out an answer to that bug issue, kindly drop me a line. After 50 yrs, I still haven't found anything satisfactory.
Bats!
Want privacy but don't want to be on a river. My goodness
What’s wrong with a River??
