Will it gummy up your needle?
@michellefel147 As you do not use it where your embroidery will be this will not cause any issues. It is not for use where the needle is used.

Is this tape water soluble.. thanks
@SuzanneMatthews-s91 This tape is used to stay on the hoop and grip the fabric so is not water soluble. There is another product that is if you are needing one to be soluble:

Would it help with hoop burn?
@dianneleslight4970 No this won't stop hoop burn, for fabric that is sensitive to hoop burn we recommend floating the fabric.
