I've had my rear sunshade a month now. It is an outstanding product. The engineering and fabrication is first rate. The installation was as easy as explained. It looks great and really keeps the sun off. I have no worries at 35mph. I am really happy with the Canvas Factory.

Brook, yes this was a different kind of video, but A Very Interesting One. I used to boat on the Ohio River up here in Cincinnati years ago on a 1979 31'Chris Craft Catalina Tri-Hull. Shades like this would have been Awesome to have.

You make a great dad daughter team. Beautiful family. Talk with a fiberglass guy they have a few tricks when drilling fiberglass maybe you ethos is better, I don't know. But I've always use tape and gone in reverse first. Never had one hole form spider cracks or chips. Also telescopic poles would be nice and the top rubber piece that prevents lighting strikes.... Good look to you guys.

Nice product, but how do you protect the core of the deck from water intrusion when you drill that big hole for the mount in the deck? As a Marine Surveyor I see so many decks and hulls compromised and ruined by mounting things without protecting the drilled hole/core surfaces with paint or sealant. You should show how to do that after you have drilled the hole and before you install the fitting.
Pretty sure that core is a composite. It looks pink.

Nice product, look to quality built. Two quick questions:
1) are there other colors available?
2) is there an option for adjustable poles? It seems like adjustable poles would allow the awning to be tilted to one side or another to block the sun or to raise or lower either to block the sun or adjust for taller people. I’m 6’6” and clearance height is always an issue for me.
You could use other colors, white is the most popular. If it was black for instance, especially with your height, it would be very hot underneath. They’re working on designing a strong adjustable pole

long time follower brook....love the sunshades. did dad ever think about adjustable poles. for example a person could raise those back ones or angle front down for more shade...been wanting one of the canvas factory logo hogfish shirts since I saw them , don't see a merch. store at website to buy one. can I buy one if I stop in someday...only two hours or so nw. keep the videos coming
He doesn’t make adjustable poles, but he can buy carbon fiber adjustable ones but they aren’t quite as sturdy as the stainless ones. Haha we don’t have any shirts for sale!

How can we get in touch with your dad, have a 29 Ft Seahunt game fishing and would like a to order one of his shades
How come on this one he used the clip in deals like a Bimini top would clip into instead of doing the track across the front like he did on the other ones? And if I was to order one for my Formula 310 bowrider would I be able to use that track system or would it be the clip in type? Or is it just personal preference? We have the fiberglass arch! And also just curious but why doesn’t he do the green and red tags for starboard and port like he does on his covers? Thank u!!
Attaching through the track doesn’t allow air flow through the top. Yes you can still do them this way! They’re still beautiful. A lot of people don’t want to add a track to their top, so this is less invasive. There’s no need for the tags because it’s pretty simple to tell the top from bottom and the front from back!

Can you make those poles adjustable like a telescopic pole? Also shorter poles for keeping the sun out at lower angles and for creating a lower pitch for draining rainwater?
That's what I was thinking...adjustable to shield better when sun is at different angles during the day.
