Harrison Roach is too underrated... He rides logs, fishes, mid-lengths like a wizard and looks obscenely stylish on a HP shortboard. In my opinion he personifies this current surfing era: riding the right board for the right conditions and doing it with bags of style. Please make more videos with him!
Found on js website otherwise awesome clip. 👍 HARRISON ROACH Height: 5’10” (177 cm) // Weight: 72 kg - 158 lbs *Rides 6'4 ” x 20” x 2 9/16” = 34.3L *Rides 7’6” x 21 ¾” x 2 7/8” x 50L
Kind words mate! But it's just good boards, filling a genuine gap in Harry's quiver (and everyone else's), plus the freedom to ride Thomas logs and the other stuff that makes Harrison who he is. There's enough smoke and mirrors out there we'll try to keep this part of surfing real.
Mid length is a jack of all trades but master of none. When waves are good ill rather be on something else and when waves are weak be on a longboard. Still belongs in everyone's quiver if you can afford it.
Depends what kind of waves... Mid-lengths work wonderfully on weaker but bigger beach breaks, slower point breaks etc. Devon Howard does just fine on one, same with Joel Tudor. I don't see them as a jack of all trades, especially considering there are tonnes of different types of mid-length. There are long fishes, hulls, reverse hulls like the V Bowls. Watch Trevor Gordon riding mid-lengths, there's so much more to them than just being a jack of all trades, they're their own thing.

Any idea what twin set up he’s riding? And is it the same fin set up for all 3?
Is it uncool now to call mid lengths, mini mals?
