Thanks for sharing. I played bass. I had forgotten this show was filmed and it's great to see it now fifteen years later. The hospitality and kindness we were shown in Milan and throughout Italy was overwhelming and I remember this show well. A few notes- I'm pretty sure we opened with Are We Getting Any Closer though it's missing here. The video ends partway through You Came To Me As A Ghost, which was written on tour. Both of these songs appear as "untitled' on Mi Sei Apparso Come un Fantasma (though the beginning of AWGAC is cut off) but neither ever made it into a studio. Also missing is the show-closing, extended version of The Black Crow which we were playing as heavily as possible at this point. There was an attempt to record this show for what would become Mi Sei Apparso Come un Fantasma direct to 2" tape but due to technical issues all the tracks that made it onto the record came from the previous night's show in Modena. Anyway, good times with good friends. I'm happy to see it now. High-five to Jason.
+Daniel MacAdam Thanks Daniel for your comment..this is amazing. Unfortunately this is all the video material I found about that concert, its a shame that some songs are missing. Thank you and thanks to Jason for this wonderful music.
Daniel MacAdam hey Dan I was just wondering if you remember the guitar Jason was using here, I've always fascinated with the weird guitars Jason used and tunings and all that, even more after reading Erin Osmons book. I thought maybe it was some sort jazzmaster copy rickenbacker type thing.
