I'm almost 50 yet always drawn back to the days with such fond memories. International Karate tune is still fresh in my mind. Legend, yet so humble. We love ya dude!
So talented yet so humble, it is a testament to the talent of all those game music creators of the time, as a kid listened to the music on friends c64, then my Spectrum +2 had a 3 voice chip, listened to demos on the Atari ST and Amiga replicating the orginals, and listening to all the legends of that era now on You Tube!
Dude my most favourite and iconic song of the c64. and you made it over night? lol I still use it as a ring tone since 2010. I tried to switch but than I never notice when some one calls me.
he missed the best part... that morning after finishing the music, he grabbed every c64 he could find in the office and loaded up the music and walked out the door.
ua-cam.com/video/r0NZKG3-tYU/v-deo.html I broke down and rebuilt the sound from ch1 in commando at the very start.. it's insane he starts off with sawtooth then goes into noise and back to sawtooth switching between octaves and the C64 (well, the Sid) was actually able to process that) and here's me having issues on a PS4 over 30 years later. So then I had to remake the tune... ua-cam.com/video/4CQJbcgn6rg/v-deo.html
A lot of British people do that. Rob Hubbard and Paul McCartney are bad for saying "you know" so often you could just keep using it if you are trying to do an impersonation of them.
LEGEND COMPOSER! Thank you Rob for all your music in my childhood.

My fav music composer for the Commodore.
My hero for the last 50 yrs - what a wizard …
What a guy! The music from Commando is the best C64 soundtrack in my opinion. Love it!

Childhood hero
Utter legend.
I didn't realize that he had adapted the melody from the arcade version.
Commando definitely best c64 game music
Ski or Die halfpipe music is the best tune Hubbard composed, if you ask me.

I think Rob uses "You Know" as a comma in his speech lol

It's the Northern English equivalent of "umm" or "like". Personally I don't find it annoying like those two other filler terms.
@@kylej.whitehead-music309 Yep, I'm not a northerner but I didn't even notice he was using it that much, I was too engrossed in the story!
Legend!
Rambo first blood. Master of Magic and this. Almost worth buying a C64 just for the choons
