- the 5th and final single to be released from the 'Naked' album was 'One Kiss From Heaven' the single reached number 9 in the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart. The video stars several of Louise's celebrity friends including Michelle Gayle, Martine McCutcheon, Phil Babb, Shane Lynch, Kelle Bryan from Eternal, Sean Maguire and Jamie Redknapp.
One of my favourites from her! Such a talented woman and very underrated - such great 90’s vibes ❤️ who’s still here in 2024?
This is the song that made me discover Louise back in 1997. It was on a cassette that came free with Top Of The Pops magazine. Louise really had some brilliant songs in her solo career.

Louise is the reason I still hold on to my VHS video recorder. Still have every tape she released, as well as numerous 8 hour long-play recordings from her appearing on TV back in the day. One of her posters is still on my wall, but now framed. And I still have her My Story book, with every page covered with every magazine clipping I could find. I even extended the pages to fit more in once I found the internet and could print her pictures. A beautiful lady inside and out, like no other.

I don't really know all UK Artists from the 90's who weren't that much popular down here but I remember Louise. oh yeah - the 90's were amazing! wish the music would be the same - just Pure Cheesy Pop. but yeah, just great! :)

This song just popped up in my head and i had to come and listen to this. It's always strange when a memory of a song can lay dormant for all these years and then all of a sudden you just have an urge to listen to the song to feel it! I like that about Louise's earlier songs they're very uplifting and nostalgic. Btw who's the guy at 3:10 seconds?! I can't think of where I've seen him before! These kind of videos are fun when they include other artists, the only other one I can think of is Michael Jackson's Liiberian Girl.
I never realised how many stars are in this video. I saw Shane from boyzone, jamie redknapp, martine mccutcheon, kelly from eternal, Sean maguire, Michelle Gayle. Such a cool video. I feel like it was potentially inspired by that's the way love goes by janet Jackson.

0:02 This song is pure magic from when that bass starts up!!!! I even got mild goosebumps from it!!!!! I loved how you'd smile Louise during the chorus, like maybe you were being swept up in euphoria from that sweet harmonic beat. ;*P I love the chorus and the low key, seated dance routine, too. Who said seated dancing was uncool???? This video always makes me think of late 1996 when I'd be recording music videos from off the old Box music video channel, and how sometimes I'd see this song's video before high school in the mornings. They were the days, eh???? Even though I was mostly a laughing stock at high school, I was still optimistic that maybe I could somehow make an impression on one of the older girls I fancied, and then life would be bliss. 0:52 That woman with the frizzy hair used to kinda remind me of one of them. In 2009 when my OCD started getting really bad, I'd sometimes cry remembering back to those times, and how they never panned out how I would've liked. Still, the grass is never really greener on the other side, is it????
Personally, I think you should be more grateful that you've always been so beautiful. Lately, I've been reading things about how you were clinging onto that Daisy Lowe character after she helped to convince you that you were still sexy, like you'd been having serious doubts or something. Even though you are still attractive, I feel that you should be grateful that you were angelically beautiful when it counted, when you were young!!!!!! I mean, look at me. I've never known what it feels like to be attractive to the opposite sex, nor what it feels like to be comfortable in my own skin, and yet if I can be happy and optimistic SOMETIMES, then I feel like you could learn from me, in that regard. Although I admit that I take 150MG of Sertraline anti-depressants every day, and still often feel worried and miserable.
I can understand how maybe you feel a bit disheartened at the lack of views and comments your videos get, compared to some other, less talented, less deserving artists. Personally I was shocked to see your old videos didn't have MILLIONS of views!!!! I mean, back in the mid nineties, I always saw you as a major star, near enough on par with the Spice Girls!!!!! So I was floored lately when I discovered you'd never had a number 1 hit single!!!!! I would've thought naked would've been a number 1 at least, since it was always such a famous song, even if it wasn't my favourite of yours!!!!

Louise, you know now how I've always had trouble keeping eye contact with people, don't you??? But I didn't say before how that shyness and insecurity has often extended to still pictures of people, too. As a matter of fact, I've even had trouble keeping eye contact with still pictures of you, not to mention when viewing the footage of you from your music videos. Sometimes in the past, it's made me feel awkward and self-conscious, like I'm being scrutinised and judged, like you can somehow see me through the still pictures and video footage. It isn't just you I get that from though, it can be from anyone in pictures or video if they appear to be looking at the camera!!!! I know, all this makes me sound like a bonafide loony tune, but I think in a strange way, it's a beautiful thing to be kinda insane, just like I think it's a beautiful thing to be a social reject. After all, our flaws are what make us, us, aren't they????/ And I suppose there's no such thing as an erroneous work of art, since our imperfections humanise us, and make us more relatable to each other.
Sometimes at high school, my inability to look people in the eye was so bad, that there was this one time I remember when this group of girls who would pretend to flirt with me were talking to me, and while they were sarcastically making out that I was irresistible to them, I made such little eye contact that I could tell you more about the texture of their pants than say, what their hairstyles were like on that day. As a matter of fact, I was looking down so much that afterwards, I thought I must've looked so pathetic and knew I had to try and change. Now that I'm often thoroughly bored of life though, and often suffer from self-loathing, I find it somewhat easier to make eye contact with people, since I don't care so much about peoples judgements anymore. I do find it fascinating to wonder what you must think, reading what I say, though. And just because I get self-conscious, looking at pics and video footage of you, that doesn't mean it doesn't feel good.

0:38 I always used to think a hairstyle like what that male model had would be perfect for a shy person for myself, since I've always had a hard time maintaining eye contact in life. ;*( However, I only realised later on in life that that person's hairstyle only worked for him because he had chiselled, manly facial features, and a proper, masculine facial structure and shape under that hair, which was plainly obvious for all women to see!!!!!! If a person with a round, pudgy, chubby face like me tried it, I just would've ended up looking like some kind of rabid man-animal freak. ;*(
Y'know what I find funny, Louise?????? I always thought it made Eternal seem ultra cool, being composed of three beautiful black women and one beautiful white woman, and yet, if it'd been three white women and one black woman, it wouldn't have had that same feel to it, I think!!!! I'm guessing it must be because it's more common typically for there to be more whites than blacks in girl groups, maybe!!! And in a way, I think it made you seem more ghetto and streetwise, being able to hang with a bunch of black women, since black women, to me at least, embody that stereotype of being more headstrong and aggressive, perhaps!!!!! I tell you though, it sure was a gutsy move to leave them, considering there was that scary possibility you could've fallen back into obscurity without that rock to lean on!!!! Unless of course they'd told you the Eternal door was always open, or maybe you just had an extreme amount of confidence in yourself to succeed on your own!!!!!
Urghhhhhh, I can't stand how these days, I'm always feeling tired when I don't want to be, and wide awake when I don't want to be. ;*( Y'see, a week ago, I wanted to change my sleeping pattern so that I could go out in the early afternoon one last time before we get to firework time of year, and all the chavs are letting them off every night. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do it, and I messed up my sleeping pattern in the process, meaning I tried to sleep from 6AM until 2PM, but I kept waking up each hour or so, and then having trouble getting back to sleep. ;*( I dunno if it's because I'm anxious about firework time of year, or if it's my bed springs sticking into me, but I digress. I've only been able to stay awake in the evenings by staring at a close up pic of your face for an hour or so at a time while blasting fan noise down my ears through my headphones. I don't wanna sleep at this time in preparation for when November 5th arrives. That way I won't be all tired and out of it when doing my best to pass those hours, each night.
It isn't just because I don't like the fireworks that I don't like this time of year!!!!! Our cat has never liked them either, and has always seemed afraid when hearing them, and I remember well how miserable I used to feel back in the years when I didn't cover my ears, or blast fan noise down my ears at this time of year!!!! I also feel really bad for the birds out in the tress, as well. ;*( After all, cats and animals can't cover their ears, can they?????? ;*( Honestly, I feel like the world would be a perfect place if everyone was as caring, compassionate, and loving as me. Sadly I often feel like I'm one of the last of a dying breed in this day and age. Still, it does convince me that we're living in the end times, at least. This is what the Bible prophesised after all, isn't it?????

To be fair to some of my other old female celebrity crushes, like Geri Halliwell, N'Dea Davenport and Diane Youdale who blocked me on there, I probably came off as a huge weirdo, trying to write big long messages to them through numerous sentence-long tweets, which is why I don't harbour too much disdain for them, but I think you know where I'm coming from!!!!!!! I'm so used to being blocked that it doesn't hurt my feelings anymore, and make me want to insult the people blocking me. If I get blocked now, I just smile and nod. I suppose you could say I'm "the thing that just won't die" with all the heartache, ridicule and rejection I've endured in life. As a matter of fact, in order to taunt the people who want to cause me pain, I turn around and say, "Please sir, may I have some more????"

People only remember Martine McCutcheon from Eastenders, meaning the peak of her career was the late nineties, the man from Boyzone is never really heard from much anymore, and all the football players are old and washed up, now. I bet if Louise wanted to do a modern day reunion version of this video, they'd all be eager for the payday (yes, even Jamie).
