@@justinstearns9723 Carter actually sold a Thermoquad designed to work with the GM throttle linkage and TV cable as a bolt-on performance item in the late 70’s. The only Q-jets I know of that came on anything Mopar from the factory were the mid-late 80’s M body police package cars with the 318 4bbl, and they were the garbage computer controlled units just like GM used in their last few years of carburetors. Dodge also used a Holley built electronic TBI setup on the 318’s from 88 to 1990 before coming out with the “Magnum” engines. They look a LOT like the GM TBI units but iirc injectors are slightly different and none of the electronics actually interchange between the two. I had an 89 Ramcharger with that setup, it was a real pig but was plenty reliable.
That sound never gets old. Makes me think of the Bluesmobile
Exactly!
Cops chasing me in 1985...
sounds like a bunch of diplomats and gran furys taking off pursuing someone
"THERMOQUAAAAAD!"
Sounds straight out of a 70s car chase
Yes it does!
The guy with rabbits in his trunk in " Thunderbolt and Lightfoot " .

Big ass boat!
HOT PURSUIT!!!
Sounds like a quadrajet
Thermoquad was the Dodge version of the quadrajet.

Driving a car that rides better on rough gravel roads. Unlike a modern car where you feel every expansion joint and knocks your feelings out!!
