i haven't seen anyone talking about the choreography, so i'll do it myself! i absolutely adore how stiff and jagged the choreography is, because it's purposely giving the impression of the dancers being marionettes. it just adds another layer of creepiness to this music video.

There's a mistranslation in the English subtitles (e.g. 2:35).
It says, "I wish I'm mixed with them."
The Korean lyrics don't have pronouns in that line, so a Korean listener would assume the pronouns based on the context.
Because the previous lyrics are, "Everyone has something lacking. A cup of this one, a cup of them, and a spoon of him," the line should actually be, "I wish they would be mixed together."
Basically, she's singing that her standards are too high, and she wants the best part of different people to make this one, perfect lover.
So she's kind of like Frankenstein, wanting to create a monster that would suit her imaginary love story.
Suits the creepy theme in this music video, right? :)

Also, I'm kinda annoyed by this, I knew the other upload has 6m+ views, but I'm not having it on my recommended, I get this only. Maybe 1theK gets recommended because the channel has more highly viewed videos, but it still doesn't make much sense.
Blu Riley I was recommended this one tbh, for no reason whatsoever, I mean I didn't know her, so it's not that. But I think this whole thing has to do with fandoms and views. Fandoms are crazy about their groups and they spam the videos, also groups are usually more popular outside of Korea (which is usually where UA-cam videos get views) while soloists are not. And UA-cam recommends videos that seem to do well, so it makes sense.

Some early 20th century music in america was heavily inspired by european styles so you can say that there is some french in it. You can literally hear it 😄

@@DireConsenquences She's one of the best solo artists. She has a very unique voice and considered the "Nation's Little Sister" or "Nation's Goddess". She is VERY talented :) I would recommend you to listen to some of her stuff. She recently did a collab with ZICO of BlockB. That's a cute song.

This is one of the coolest MVs I’ve seen in such a long time. The settings are relatively simple compared to what we get these days but the set designs, lighting, and cinematography are so inventive, esp right before that dance break
