- Here are some ideas from two Sweet 16 parties.
Evening party: candles. white Christmas lights all around. lights or candles around food. Separate drinks table. disco lights (from spencers). Buffet table for finger foods/ canapes/ appetizers. Inexpensive punch fountains (Walmart.co chocolate $50, punch $30). Centerpieces from DD's Discount (its like ROSS but cheaper). Plastic table covers keep the price down. but if you throw more parties, think about purchasing some.
"drapes" are actually TWIN size FLAT bed sheets by Mainstays sold at Walmart. I couldn't order them online, so plan MONTHS in advance, so you can shop all your local walmarts. PVC Pipes and pvc fittings from Home Depot, lowes, and OSH.
Dollar Tree. The best place for party supplies. Small "salad" pates pack of 6. 12piece fork, spoon, knife. Flower vases. fake flowers. small ribbons. rocks. color sand. table covers. platic serving utensils. CRYSTAL CUT bowls and serving trays (I have reused mine sooo many times).
Ikea: 3 tier glass serving trays $15. candle holders I think 12 for $1.99 and 49cents each. 100 tea light candles for like $4? - Навчання та стиль
me using for my quinceanera: 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
You're going to use some of these ideas?? That's awesome! What are you planning to do?

The folding bistro set (little table with 2 chairs) i got from Craigslist for $25 then fixed it up. i use it for the punch fountain sometimes.
I like that song! Aaaayyyyyyeeee
1:36 i like to separate sections, or at least the "dance floor." i used silver ballon ribbon to keep the people getting food all to one side. it feels cozy. in the second one we had the drapes drawn between the table and the dance floor.
Good job
I'm late but this is cool!!!
the silver stars: some were from dollar tree, some drom Cash and Carry, but they ordered them from Oriental Trading. I hung them up with Fish line. got it from the fishing section at walmart.
walmart .com also sells chocolate fountains, i got one for $50! :) But i definitely recommend tge punch fountain, its ALWAYS a hit!
For a small party menu idea:
0) salad, bagged salad, or dressing, croutons.
1) boxed mashed potatoes. follow directions add mayo or sour cream, pepper, and chicken bullion per water ratio
2) EASY; LITERALLY bake (covered) boneless chicken thighs with Campbells "great for cooking" cream of mushroom
3) white rice
4) cooked broccoli
5) soft cooked carrot, adds color.
6) Dinner rolls
Everyone gathered, salad bowls and dressing were brought out- self served. someone collected used plates. Plated food was then brought out.
We used regular foam plates for the "main course" because our local costco, dollar tree, and walmart did not carry matching plastic plate /sets. i was so hungry that i didn't take a picture of the plate
the disco light is from the Spencer's store. about $40 i think. Got a strobe light there too(the kibd you plug to the wall) We use them ALL the time! Great investment. Aliexpress. com sells lights too. i just got a mini laser light for under $15! my kids love them!
how much did the backdrop with drapes all come out to?
+maria gamez i can't be sure now but grand total for the black/white party was $700 or less (including food[the table and chair covers were loaned for free]). ~28x$5=$140 for drapes. a ten foot pvc pipe is ~$3. corner aka fittings are ~$2 each
Bed sheets for drapes sounds like a great idea. How did u get them to stay up I have a folding back drop just need ideas for fabric
I used PVC pipes. On the sheet itself, i just cut a 2 inch vertical line on each end (but on the back side so it wont show in the front.
i think the tea light candles from IKEA are 100 for $4
About how much did u spend on the pvp pipes? Thinking about recreating this look
I was going to ask the same question
I can't remember anymore, Sorry. It was so long ago. I do remember the whole thing being affordable.
Have you heard of www.linentablecloth.com/ ? I spent about $330 for a TON of things. It was like 22 tablecloths, 13 DOZENS cloth napkins, 30 chair covers, 21 satin table runners, and satin chair ribbons. I recommend that you check it out, they have sooo many color options. The tablecloths were as cheap at $3 each. If you buy those, you can sew a pocket on them, and use them with the pipe, then you can un-sew them after the party. I highly recommend them. I used to get table clothes at dollar tree for EVERY party, now I don't have too.
How many PVC pipe stands did you have to make?
I'm not sure I understand. I hung them from the top. I used Rod holders and U shape clamps.
This is a problem what u don’t have a back yard lol
