    Richard Wilson's comments are made up garbage. 20% I'd estimate. Latinos were initially cynical about world football in Atlanta and laughed at me when I told them Tata Martino was The coach. They also told me Carlos Vela would never play in ML S. They are more recently getting on board with 5 Stripes. Go to a match Richard. You'll find people wearing Falcons, Dawgs, Bama, Auburn, et al at these games. Here's an actual real number for Richard. Less than 1% of The world's population watches the NFL.

    Muito foda ver que a cidade de Atlanta abraçou o time, espero que aqui no Brasil a cidade de Bragança abrace o Red Bull Bragantino também! 🇧🇷
    Very cool to see that the city of Atlanta embraced the team, I hope that here in Brazil the city of Bragança embrace the Red Bull Bragantino as well.

      Absolutely not, the only Ultras in the MLS are Ultras Montréal 02. When you get your flares and smoke bombs from the club, tifos funded by the club, you can't call yourself an ultra. And let's see where the fanbase goes when your team will go through tough times.

    • @zstoor21
      @zstoor21 5 років тому +11

      @@QuebecMan2 our Tifos are not by the club, they are funded by fans and supporters groups much the same as Marseille fans in France have supporters groups. Also the flares and smoke are bought by us as well. Flares arent allowed inside there but I would personally like to see smoke during the game set off

    the way this league has been set up is distorted this Final should have been held at a mutual ground not at the ground of one of the teams in the final but because it's America they make up their own rules by the way tear up plastic pitches or continue calling it sucker!!

    • @jorgemagadela4938
      @jorgemagadela4938 5 років тому +6

      You don't know what you're talking about. The final is at the home ground of the team that finished the season in the highest seed. The last time MLS did neutral sites for the final was in 2010 and attendance was lackluster with a dull atmosphere.

    • @BlackOpsGod2011
      @BlackOpsGod2011 5 років тому +1

      It's to ensure attendance is not dead. Once Football becomes a more popular sport here, then neutral grounds can work. As of now, very few Americans are willing to travel across the country just to watch a football match.
      Some other major sports tournaments (like NFL and NCAA) have neutral grounds, but that's because those sports are already established and popular here.

    • @davehere7695
      @davehere7695 5 років тому

      Imapuddles1 yep so true even then there is many leagues who play finals at non neutral grounds

    • @spanztumblr
      @spanztumblr 5 років тому

      If you aren't really willing to travel to watch a game, a bloody FINAL on a bloody weekend to say the least, you aren't really a proper fan now are you? Mind you, fans in Europe have to travel on a fucking WEEKDAY to watch Champions League games away from home. All these are just bloody excuses. Most Atlanta "fans" are just jumping on the hype train.

    • @BlackOpsGod2011
      @BlackOpsGod2011 5 років тому +1

      Spanz Klyde
      I am sure there are MLS fans winning to travel to watch a final, but it's still very few compared to the amount of fans in footballing nations that would go attend a neutral ground away from home. If there was a neutral ground in the MLS currently, I highly doubt the stadium would fill up over 80%. Keep in mind that the USA is a very large country. It's easier to get from Spain to Poland than it is from Portland to Atlanta, and yet there were quite a few Portland supporters present at the Benz. The USA is not at a point where football is a huge deal and the amount of passionate MLS fans wiling to travel far is very tiny.
