There are two main dialects that are being used in Samar. The "S-Waray" and "H-Waray". S-Waray is mainly spoken in Northern Samar and Western parts of Samar (Calbayog area), while H-Waray is spoken in Eastern Samar all the way to Basey, Catbalogan, Tacloban and Northern parts of Leyte. The reason for the names is the differences in the word markers: H-Waray using "ha" and S-Waray using "sa".

Naval is not in Leyte but in Biliran. We are a separate and independent island province since May 11, 1992.

Sorsogon is basically the camarines norte of the south being a waray + bikol mixed isntead of a tagalog + bikol mix here in cam norte

@@pilot_bruh576 Sabi raw ng kaibigan ko sa Daet camarines norte Ang mga matanda lang doon ang nakakasalita ng bikol pero yung nga kabataan mga tagalog na palan

@@endings2838 not exactly tagalog is more widely spoken yes but kids still speak bikol although it is a much more tagalog inspired bikol with words like "sida" "hidam" and "hidap" it seems like that because adults usually prefer conversing using one language but kids on the other hand with my own observation really do not care lol and a little side note there are 3 dialectal areas in cam norte tagalog - sta elena, capalonga, jpang, and paracale a special tagalog bikol mix - labo, and vinzons then bikol speakers of the daet dialect - talisay, daet, mercedes, san vicente, san lorenzo, and basud

So when will you feature Cebuano-Visayan? When you do, PLEASE do VEEERY extensive research. It would be such a shame if you would just call it "Bisaya" as there are multuple kinds of Bisaya at isa na rito ang Waray. 💀

Sus nagdemand kapa e karamihan sa inyo mga waray ayaw umaming bisaya dahil nahihiya. Lalo na sa mga waray sa manila. Ayaw umaming bisaya. Atleast kami mga Cebuano di nahiya umaming bisaya.
