Goddamn everytime I find a new piece by them Jimmy's guitar amazes me even more. LOVE the acoustic so much! And the early version of Hey Hey What Can I Do is magic oh lawd, such soul!
@@SophisticatedSchizophrenic I thought the same thing actually. If you listen to Bert Jansch's early albums you'll recognise this riff. I reckon it's another one of Bert's that Jimbo wanted to pinch.
i actually like his acoustic work better than his electric, i play guitar and you can take an acoustic guitar anywhere and turn people onto it, and ive gotten laid many, many times playing zeppelin at parties, thanks jimmy!!!
Freaking brilliant. Even Led Zeppelins rehersals, demos, outtakes and warm ups are pure fucking gold. Come on Jimmy/ Atlantic release another Zeppelin live DVD or a rarities disc that is better than CODA.
I wonder what kind of acoustic guitar Jimmy Page uses in these recordings, becuz Page has always had his own unique sound. I love it thanx for the upload.
Anything that gives a glimpse into the songwriting prowess of Page is a gift to my ears.
+MyworstEnemy i 2nd that emotion.
Hey Hey What Can I Do! So incredible. Gotta be their most underrated song.
that's why Led Zeppelin is my favorite band of all time
i could jam to this allday, even the rehearsels are magic, Zeppelin is just the best band ever.
And it isn't even close

4:45 good lord that is an interesting rhythm.
Genesis of "No Quarter"?

This is great raw playing, I love it!!! Thanks for posting.
It is his Harmony Sovereign H1260. He used it for almost all of Zeppelin acoustic stuff, both demos and recordings.
thought BYA was cut on a D21 ?
Can i just be the furst to give robert his flowers on this one as well
beautiful
Oh the beginning is Black Dog :)
Basically the same riff as Gallows Pole too, I couldn't tell which one they were doing.
True artistry.
"poor tom" is an outtake from LZ3 that wound up on coda.
The riff at :30 seconds in clearly "Burning Love" by Elvis. Came out in 1972. I reckon Jimmy must've just heard it.

the third part is from coda, hey hey what can i do. amazing song... and for the guy asking if this is jimmy page, yes it is
cool cool
El maximo artista de rock del mundo james patrick page .
They choosed the best version.
I think other people (page/bonham/jonsey) are possibly singing along to that snippet
JIMMY PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zoso.............
were do you find stuff like this?
445 the beginning od no quarter???
это поймут только фанаты LZ
мощьно!
anybody know who's singing the backing vocals on "hey hey what can i do"?
+Zareba Zalbicore i doubt it cuz i think they're just recording everyone on the reel to reel tape recorder. but i could b wrong.
+Duncan Mcdonald maybe but i doubt it since "hey hey what can i do", is not on the same album as "battle of evermore".
mick james it’s on the outtakes
Who commented ?
I'm pretty sure it's actually Jimmy singing backup vocals . I've seen video of him singing backup .
is no one els is awww of hey hey what can i do at 2:54 ?!
Its sooo good!!!
the one from min 7 40 is poor tom, this are outtakes from coda more than outtakes of bron-yr-aur
Coda is a compilation of songs left out from earlier albums. Poor tom was recorded during the led zeppelin III sessions
What is the song after black dog
I'd guess it was supposed to be either Black Country Woman or The Rover
is this a gibson j-200?
Yes it is.
in the photo, yes gibson j200. but song recorded from harmony soverign 1260.
Hold on a second, does everyone think this is actually Jimmy Page and /or Robert Plant? Impossible. C’mon fans.
These recording have been around in the bootleg circles for decades.
@@kwmusic4560 so they are plant and page recordings?
@@hubflower5433 Yes, from 1970.
That is so obviously Robert Plant listen to his voice. Iconic
is this even jimmy playing???
Yes, it is, because I was there when he played it.
@@34hedgehog thank you for confirming it for us
