I play the F8U-2 so people ask if I'm okay. 9Ds are fine. As soon as you lauch a missile pull your nose ahead of your opponent, the missile will still be influenced by your planes motion as it leaves the rails. No G overload on missile means you can pull lead while launching AIM-9Bs and the alike. Everyone has more lead to their missiles.

Dawg, I cannot stress enough how good sim is rn for grinding. I get on average 100k rp and over 300k sl per match using a tier 4 prem. At tier 6 I’d imagine it’d be even better. Plus using that sweet 500% in it with multiple respawns is a huge advantage. You don’t have to worry about wasting it. Definitely worth checking out.

I just grind german tree with my SPS-K and any F-5C isn't a problem for my R-13M1s. But yeah, the whole premium tier is now carried by the amount of F-5Cs and SPS-Ks.
@@TheEpicGamingChair. r60 are for up to 2km they have a really short burn time. But they also work much better at close range due to their larger ir fov. Personally use r13m1 and just use guns close range.

I would like to share my warm feelings from today, I wanted to reverse a f5c in a stock hunter f6, didn't work quite as well as I Thought, but at least the F5c was Pink. Cherrs!
I told a player we was on his friends acc in the f-14 that if he pressed F and G and waited a few seconds he’d be faster than before. He crashed because of the shock from his gear going.
And RWR. And flares. And crazy AoA with energy retention. But, of course, it's a premium, Gaijin will never fix/remove those features, because they are "legally liable" in Europe, lol.
@@Pawniac i mean you can’t just arbitrarily remove something from a plane, when it had actually had those things. the f-5 was a good fighter in real life too, it’s just it’s so prolific in war thunder because it flies a lot more similarly to a prop than most jets do, and relies more on dogfights than energy fighting like a lot of jets do, so noobs can do a lot better in it

Neither planes received RWR and/or Countermeasures IRL, simply because the CM dispensers and the RWR were invented AFTER the F-5C was retired from service. But since it's a premium, Gaijin is using the "we are legally liable in Europe if we remove a feature from a premium after it's been sold" excuse to not nerf the F-5C that is overperforming by a large margin. That, combined with the fact that it's a 10.3 Premium noobs buy make it seem ok in Gaijin's eyes. It should either be moved to 10.7 or kept at 10.3 after it loses its CM and RWR that IT NEVER HAD IRL.
The F5C spam is honestly infuriating Gaijan clearly broke the plane because they knew the massive amount's of people were gonna buy it to grind to the F14 explains why a majority of the broken premiums are in the 9.3-10.3 US Air Tree. I’ve been playing since 2016 and admit I suck at the game. Only this year have I breached into 7.0 ground and 8.0 air. (US main)And it’s because of the F5c. And XM-1. I used to average 1 tank kill per 5 games in ground realistic I’ll just put it that way. Now it’s better but… still sucks. But I do think having top tier Premium vehicles is absolutely a cash grab. And then they can edit the vehicle models to nerf or buff so when you buy these things they can sucker you and it’s just BS. But I’ve played for so long that honestly I just don’t give a crap so many people just buy and I can’t handle getting ruined and wanna have fun. Can’t beat ‘em? Join em! And hey it makes y’all’s games easy feeding off the mostly stupid wallet warriors😅
Got the ariete and it just absolutly destroys f5c in dogfights...but when they realize they cant win they just start to run away....downside being 9.3 subsonic that gets uptiered 95% pf games
Hey new to war thunder and i love air to air combat but cant seem to find the best country with high maneuverability planes any help would be appreciated
By far Japan has the most nimble fighters in the tech tree. While the British spitfires do come close and might even outpace certain japanese aircraft at times, its a bit of a slog to get to the place where the best spitfires are. Japan has incredibly manueverable aircraft available almost immediately with just a bit of grinding, including the zero (which is like the best in terms of turn fighting). There are some tradeoffs, like japanese planes have somewhat weaker machine guns at lower levels and their planes being notoriously easy to catch on fire- but in a turn fight, no one will be able to stop you. That's my recommendation based on experience, though i'm sure other players would concur. Best wishes!

those same useless weight can save your life in a stalling dogfight and maybe decreases your wing's lift and maybe add more parasite drag as for the landing gears(not sure if it actually affects in game though)
I love the f5 but dear god do I hate the 9es, the amount of times I've killed a freindly because instead of going for the heat signitue in front of it it goes to the moon and hits a friendly (benefits of a uncaged seeker ig) is infuriating

the way i avoid lost control when doing a 360 turn is i turn with my keys not mouse and as soon as screen starts getting dimmer i press w for a split second (u have to do it a few times for a 360 turn)
Same with me as an F8U/E Main My Aim 9D's Clap the noob F5C player's but once a semi-competent player gets behind one it's nearly impossible to turn fight them.
Just checking your aware the rp it shows in the battle isn't what you earned right? You got much much more then what it shows at the time you get the reward/kill
@@MrBboy95 Nah, AV also gets a better BR, and it's acceleration let's you get into place before the enemy team might expect you. Aiming with the AV is different but still very easy, if you think the missiles don't matter at all why don't you just fly around and use nords to get air kills all day?

Sweden and China since it's one of the shortest trees until you get their top tier jet. If you buy the J 35A or A-5C research will become even faster, especially the A-5C with the 2 Magics.
F-5C is insanely good in the right hands, missiles are crap but useful for tier 1 to tier 6 purchasers and people who dont pay attention. The guns and turn rate are the real magic of the plane, get idiots to turn fight you and you dominate, easily carry matches with this even against F-14´s, F-4´s and MiG-23´s.
It’s super fun to sea club like 3-4 people at once I’m the f5C. I enjoy attracting as much attention to myself as possible and then putting half the enemy team ina fishbowl and just letting my teammates go ham.
