This was good fun. The hype was just so big for this matchup, I had to see if he had some legendary Abbasid cheese. Winner stays on!
I thought he for sure found some epic bug, trained dark age rush for a month or something like that.
The poor guy probably saw pros playing abbassid super greedy and going 3 TC and thought "I can punish that"

This was good fun. I think he thought he had real chance and wanted Abbasid mirror because of 2 landmarks. What made it the most fun was that we all knew he would try HoW military wing into RAMs into gg right from the start.
Only 2 landmarks :D I didn't think about that. Makes more sense on the ram push because he thought he could just snipe the two landmarks.

I think he just wanted to play against Beasty. I admire the guy's initiative. He had no chance obviously, but he put up a fight. Good on Beasty for not gloating over the win.
The guy probably just wanted to play with Beasty and was willing to pay $100. For us viewers, it'd be real nice if he did have a clean build -- and if Beasty shows his build in replay.
That was fun, glad he took it well. I think he paid 100 to play beasty, not to win.

Haven't seen the game yet but respect to the guy for putting his money where his mouth is. That's how you do it! No matter what the game looks like he gets my respect. He also seems well mannered in the posts (will see what his manners look like after the game)

Many of you said the dude probably paid for a chance to play against beasty but still had no chance at winning......my question is....how the hell do we get good enough TO be beasty? I'm not hating on beasty he's the goat for this game, but I would like to be that good as he, but I gotta respect the man put in some serious time in this game, far more than I do. But even amongst the elite players.....WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HELL DOES HE DO THAT WE'RE ALL MISSING???? i think AO4 have huge gap between conqurer and diamond because of the lack of number of players. a complete noob can reach diamond in 1 month in this game which is not the case for games that have large number of players. for example im hard stack in gold for 10 years in league of legend and i reached plat in 2 weeks in aoe4 using only English ramp push
