It’s a great kit for the price and an easy way to get kids into gundam/model building hobby. The downside however is the joints and connections tend to come apart if you change the poses one time too many times
There was a comment on the Bruva video that described that video as an epic fantasy version of Monty python and wow does that feel accurate in general with this
Sugoi! I bought the same exact model kit at Hobby Lobby the other day and boy was it so much fun to assemble. Originally, I was gonna get at least one HG or SD because they’re beginner friendly but this EG or Entry Grade one isn’t that bad at all, IMO. I did mess up on the red parts for the body above the waist. That, and I also messed up on how my kit was leaning on its left foot more so than it’s right foot. My bad. Other than that, I still had fun making the EG 1/114 RX-78-2 Gundam model kit even without the stand (which is sold separately, btw). P.S. I totally dig the shield with the yellow cross. 🤩 🛡
I'm a noob. Why not just cut the peg closest to the part thats going to be put together? Why have to cut the pieces twice if that makes sense.... sorry if that's confusing I just can't find the correct way to word it
2 reasons 1-It can damage the plastic itself if done incorrectly 2-Colored pieces can be left with a nasty stress mark (turns white-ish, like bending plastic) over all doing it this way causes less damage, and makes it look better
People recommend nippers be used anyway to reduce the chances of the model part having stress marks left on it if you push / twist them off the runner by hand. But f that! I say lol I'm not that much of a perfectionist. (But I don't really care much about mold lines, either lol)
Yup but the reason is because the kit is for begginer so they dont need any tools to build his first kit but if u have a nipper why not just use it, plus just pulling it by hand may hurt a bit and also leave seem line on the pieces
The entry grade looks awesome for this model. The simplicity reminds me of the anime and 80s transformers
About 9-10 bucks CAD for this awesome kit... definitely next on my list!
Its a great kit for the price!
In Japan it’s 770 yen so it’s about 5~10 bucks and it’s worth it
I Was Thinking About Making A Video About This Kit Yesterday…
Nice Video By The Way.

“Kids” -teenage year old me 😔
Slight warning, the ball joints holding the legs aren't great with moving around alot, making it break easily so be careful.
I know you might not respond to this but do the joints get loose over time and how loose are they at the start. Are they floppy or are they smooth
This was a good work
love ur vids man,,, keep it up.
I have that exact one I built it yesterday
honestly this model is one of my favorites i just started and i have 4 including it and it has the best movements between all the ones i have
Super cool!
I got the full weapons ser version, best decision of my life
UA-cam recomeded me this video as I also bought the same gundam model kit in miniso
no stickers,the best figure ever
I have the same exact kit
Same, i rebuilt this one so many times i bought 3 more
I cannot believe that the RX-78-2 Gundam appeared in Ready Player One where it, along with The Iron Giant fought Mecha Godzilla!!!
Can I do zeta gundam
You actually dont need nippers you can see it in the instructions because this is the best gunpla for beginner
But the box doesn't say it of not needing nippers
@@Moonmoon1p Correct. But the instructions do.

I got one at hobby lobby 😊😊
Literally just finished building mine
Such a fun little kit
@@wepeworks I did victory gundam and livelance heaven after that. Nice lil hg kits tbh.
Im getting this kit on aug 1 bc there was a storm here in 🇵🇭 it was originally was gonna arive maybe tomorrow like that but its all good
Did it arrive? Did you enjoy the build?
So were supposed to cut the bulky plastic section and then the smaller connecting points?
I had no idea.
Yeah doing it this way helps reduce the stress marks on the pieces

I have that model kit
Lol it's cheap but the shipping cost to india is 10 times more than the product TwT
I like the kit but only for custom build. I finish it in 20 min without it

I've got this from Forbidden planet London England
I have strike gundam entry grade
I made a review about this kit it was cringe but fun to do.
i want 1😢
i have ordered this are decals inside it?
im very late but entry grades are for beginner modelers so i dont think they come with decals
@@KnownAsOmega2436 Some entry grades do. This one does not.
Remember using nipper at entry grade is a mistake
Там не нужны кусачки...
Bro I started out with a hg not entry level😂
Oh my gosh you're so cool
No one cares.
Bruh it said it didn’t need tools, it’s an entry grade
Couldn’t help myself
It leave seem line and may hurt your fingers a bit so why not use nippers
Leaves seams and bits.
It looks nice but it feels incredibly cheap and it was stupidly hard to build with all the tiny pieces.
Isn't one of the big features with the entry grade that you don't need nippers?
Yep but I couldn’t help myself :)

@@David242Rblx the kit is going to be nubbed if you don't cut it
Grandpa
nice
Illegal
OMG PLS NO STICKERSSSS
Why buy hg if you can buy this same size and cheaper easier to build
I'm assuming bc improved posing and details?
Its an entry grade so no nippers you dont need em
You dont Need them, but doesnt mean u Cant use them
I just wanna collect the nub tho i got like a cup now
Nooooooo!!!
No need to use nipper just use finger
He just want it 😆
