I don't know if you are interested in media literacy, but one of my favourite sites with *free* resources is mediasmarts.ca which has tons of resources for all different subject matters. In addition, I don't know if you are a member of CASLT (Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers) but we are building a huge bank of training resources as well as professional communities where you can ask questions like this and exchange with other FSL teachers. I will also contact CASLT directly to see if they have anything to help you out :)
