Holiday Beach Raceway held a Pro Mod Race on Saturday July 8th. They had around 8 pro mods show up and qualify and a few of them broke during that time so they couldn't make it to the main racing. Hank Stubbs had the fastest qualifying time so he got a bye on the first round so he tested some things out. A few other cars broke during the races and in the end it was Hank Stubbs and Doug Roberts in the final race of the night. Hank Stubbs ended up winning with a 3.82 at 197mph. If you have never seen these cars in person you are missing out. 3000 to 3500 Horsepower is awesome for sure.
Man those cars ain't got no business on no 8th mile track.. What they shooting for.. a 2? 😂
That's my hometown track. I live just through the woods there on Woodland Lake. We can hear them running like they're in our backyard. 👂
I agree man, I live in Northport so I have been to Holiday a lot!
@@MadRam11 the first time I visited was in 1975. I was 6 years old. With my step dad.
He raced his 1968 Hurst Oldsmobile with me in the passenger seat. I'm 53 now with drag racing in my blood.. And a piece of my heart is at Holiday Beach raceway.
@@MadRam11 but I can't say I've been there a lot tho. All my racing buddies always wanna go to Lassiter mountain on a quarter mile track... And I ain't even got a car to race now... Trying to change All that
Nice video MadRam. Thanks for sharing.
Another bottle of Nitrous for me please, I've seem to have exhausted this one into the atmosphere.
