This location is absolutely breathtaking, with plenty of scenery to enjoy, above or below the surface. We arrived to a totally empty park.. it was silent. The water had good viz, with tons of fish and turtles that would follow you the entire dive. It's not the largest spring, but it's definitely not small. We completed two 30 min dives and never got bored. On our surface interval we jumped off the platform, and used the rope swing that surprisingly isn't banned (just don't make your own)!

I went here last summer on a camping trip with my friend and her grandpa and it was my favorite spring ever!!!! I'm a mermaid, so I highly recommend it for any other mer-friends!!!
The silver fish in the spring look like a Bala Shark from a Tetra aquarium

Has the water cleared up? It was flooded with no viz for quite a while.

Great video! Tell Monica that a fin change will most likely help her frog kick easier/better. On a different note, how do you get/make the 3D maps of the locations you dive. Do you make them yourself?
Thanks Meka, I believe I have seen you around the FB groups before. We recently got interested in cavern and I have to say, she has made great improvements with frog kicks. However running line is still a work in progress lol.
As for the 3D, yes I use photos to create a photogrammetric model of the spring and use my own tweaks to fill in the gaps. Most of the work is done using a free program called "Blender". Hopefully I can get back into creating videos, but time has been hard to find raising a 1 year old! Cheers and happy diving!

Its great to hear she has made improvements, thats what life is about. Lmk if you would love to get together and dive some time! Running line is a work in progress for all of us, but a few tips and tricks help, alongside awareness.
I almost jammed my reel while exiting ginnie through the ear at the end of our cave dive yday because I lost focus on my reel for a split second. Its all about practice and paying close attention.

Don't go into the cave. Very low flow and extreme silt. Once stirred up it holds for days. It's been said the cave is only good for a body recovery or becoming one. ( Cave diver Quote)
