Holy balls the music in this episode is beyond amazing. Do you plan to release the remixes of Day of Fate like the one during the beam struggle? Because oh my god I love them!
You know, at the end there, you just made me realize something. It’s only after losing Trunks that Vegeta starts listening to him. “If you’re bothered by cheating, either loosen your moral code, or STOP BETTING THE FATE OF THE WORLD ON DEATH MATCHES!” Before Trunks died, Vegeta would never have even considered shooting Cell in the back during that beam struggle. Throwing away his pride, even to save the world.
To be fair, Vegeta didn't really start caring about his pride to that level until the Android/Cell saga, since his motivation in this arc is to prove he's better than Goku. In the previous arcs, Vegeta did not hesitate to fight dirty.
kwanarchive Eh I think it can be. If I would compare it to any villain song it would be "Mother Knows Best" at least in the tune. Unfortunately none of them have a defeat song but hey.
Disney songs, for heroes or villains, sound like songs from Broadway musicals. My Way is a big band ballad. I can't think of any Disney songs off the top of my head that even uses a big band, let alone done in that style.
I missed a heartbeat when he said he was sorry... Legit, had stopped the video to realise... And when i lauched it back, was glad to see that gohan and I were on the same page ! X'D
Gabby, as a Gohan fan-girl myself, I absolutely adore your reactions! It's nice to be able to watch a reaction of someone who enjoys DBZA not just for the jokes and the fighting, who actually KNOWS the show beyond its fighting, but who also appreciates the character development along the way (especially Gohan's a-dork-able little self!) Of all the reactions I've watched of this episode, the most I've enjoyed and related to is yours. There were so many great Gohan moments during this episode that had me tearing up, cheering him on, and awwwing all throughout like you were. I'm intrigued to see where TFS will go with Gohan's character from here on out!
I was hoping Android 16 would've gotten a bigger reaction from you at the end. He had a halo, which meant - despite Cells claims to the contrary - for all intents and purposes, he had a soul
I love the contrast of scenes honestly, was laughing one moment, then saw 16 in heaven and was crying, then laughing at Krillin destroying the Owned count and my tears haven't even dried up yet!
Agreed the dramatic finish was an absolutely perfectly placed bit. Especially with how serious this episode had been. Completely caught me off guard and I lost it. Reactions or no, keep the videos coming! Thanks for letting us tag along for the ride.
Greetings Mr. Perfect Cell, I would like to ask you a question though. When unfortunate accidents occur and you lose some limbs there is a lot of... green juice involved. However, I've noticed when you allow these imperfect beings to actually land physical blows upon thine perfect person you bleed perfectly purple blood. Is there a reason for that apparent incongruity or is it more like how people can bleed red blood but blisters ooze clear-ish plasma? Please don't blow me up.
No, no. It's quite alright. It is part of my Namekian biology, that like Piccolo, my blood takes on a green coloration in the area where damage is detected so the cells may divide more rapidly, likely as a result of their similarity with plants. I hope this has answered your questions satisfactorily. If you have any further questions and you're by chance still alive, please don't hesitate to ask.
18 lived up to her promise and rocked krillins 4 foot world. And then yemma with his mahogany desk 😂😂. So many memories can't wait for season 4 to come out.
actually from that thud I think it was her world that got rocked. plus if that counter and how 18 sound at the end was any indication, krillin got some inhuman stamina to make a android with infinite energy feel tired.
One thing I wanted to point out: At the end of part 1, when Cell crushed 16s head, he said "I'd say he's gone to a better place but...we both know he never had a soul." But then, at 31:46 we see him with the halo playing with the animals. I thought it was a nice touch.
What counter? I think this is pretty accurate to the series. After Krillin hooked up with 18, he kinda stopped being a punching bag and just started enjoying life.
@@Phatnaru0002 He get's petrified by Dabura's spit, and Buu kills him and everyone, but that scatter bullet blew up the counter, it's too broken to count to 2 :-P
I got nothing except maybe Shenron can't bring back pure metallic bodies just half metallic. Also, BTW the reason that King Kai cursed out Yamcha was if he had just said bring back all those killed by Cell King Kai, Bubbles and Gregory could have theoretically been brought back too
Hawkx10 Well truthfully 16 had been dead for some time, back in the Red Ribbon days. And since that was the "real" 16 it would be too long to bring him back.
Maybe 16 chose to stay dead because, well, with the death of Goku, his mission is complete, he has achieved his goal in life, and now he can spend the rest of eternity in heaven, with the birds. And a dead Goku. And the birds.
My headcanon is that 16 saw Goku's spirit in the Heaven Line and decided to just stay dead. Nothing for him to do on Earth anymore, now he can stay forever with the things he loves: the birds, and the things that are not birds. It'd take a lot of rotoscoping and editing but I'd fucking *love* if they included at least one scene of 16 in heaven with Goku before he comes back. The CVR123 That’s your favorite?? Neither of these seem to be true on double-checking though and it has been literally a decade, so maybe I'm just clinging to some false information. Meh. Maybe it was something Shueisha concluded and not a Toriyama interview? Need to rifle through that stuff again.
they used we were angels when goku told he would stay in the other world, and that represents the buu saga beginning and the scene with goku having wings and fading away
Ah thank you for clearing that up about Vegeta only distracting Cell; that was one criticism I had. But your arguments make sense and I am happy they did so
I was into the original dub of the anime growing up and the abridged series was what got me back into the series in general as an adult. Me personally, I hope the Earth doesn’t implode before the Buu Saga wraps up because that was the main one I remember watching a lot of as a kid.
You madam.... know your Dragonball. You have a new subscriber. Also, I love that you talk about the music and where it's from sometimes. Please do more of that, because we love it!
I wouldn't worry too much about how TFS treats Teen Gohan. They have proven that they have a mature, nuanced, and commpassionate view of the show and the characters within, and that includes Gohan. I have faith in them
@@MozillaVulpix i think that is mostly to show the frustration among the Gohan fans that he just isn't relevant anymore. He wasn't even name dropped in the Broly thing but ToP was fun
I really love your pure excitement and joy while watching this. Just stumbled upon your videos and I love them. I got emotional with you in every part of this DBZA Episode 60 and this didn't happen when I watched them on my own. Thank you for being such an awesome person and making these videos
Who said cell is boring or generic. Cell is Savage at all times and one of the best villians in dbz. Still Takahata's version is"pun intended" perfect.
As you said, there was too many things to talk about in that. But dang, it's been a trip so far. Good job tfs. And thank you Gaby for sharing part of your trip. It's been great.
The way she explained Kaiser's opinion makes sense. It really did take away from Vegeta's moment. Especially based on how Vegeta was a focus in this episode.
@@nygma619 Less bragging right and more slight redemption in him helping someone else be able to take down a foe. But i agree on the other part, the sacrifice to the other's characters is stiill present, even if it is to a lesser degree than Vegeta's loss in the anime version.
@@Pokemonleafmon in the anime I saw it more as the others getting involved eventually swaying Vegeta to help. By the time vegeta got involved cell used enough energy to weaken him to the point that vegetas big bang could get his attention enough to distract him from Gohan for that moment. People influencing people like Vegeta (who saw it as pointless previously) where if they hadn't gone before him and swayed him to get involved, they might've all been dead, made for a more richer narrative IMO than one character cleaning up after a mistake he shouldn't have made to begin with. To me it makes Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, & Yamcha's selflessness contribute to indirectly saving the world by swaying Vegeta to get involved. In the anime those 4 get moral victories by swaying Vegeta to get involved which eventually led to him distracting cell w/ a blast at the right time of cell being weakened & distracted which eventually led to Gohan killing him. In the manga those 4 get treated as irrelevant after thoughts.
Not going to lie, your excitement squeaks are the most adorable things ever xD This show ending really hits me. I literally use this show to see how much my english has grow over the years (English is my second language and I used to practice listening to this abridge xD). Now that it ended... (for now yeah, but still) it really hits hard ;w; Great reaction! Also, I love those little DBZ history lessons xD
I used to watch this on tv with my dad...he enjoyed it enough to want to have it be something we shared after my mum left, and when I showed him this, he commented he felt these guys did it better by the “life flashing before his eyes” my way song from cell rather than the super long discussion between gohans arm wound and the beam struggle...and seriously...I just love how they literally did a “whole life before his eyes” theme
In terms of the "Gohan discussion" I can kinda see why they took his character in that particular in season 4. Gohan was never a warrior, yes he was a Saiyan but he never had that drive to be constantly better than the rest. So, while he'd definitely step up if the world needed him. He wouldn't wake up every day, and constantly prep for it.
You're great, Gaby. You're just like Gohan, probably more than you think (and that's part of it). You are both sharp and tender, and always smart enough to make yourself grow for and from the thing(s) you love. Stay well, Gaby. I guess I'll see your next reaction in a while. Thanks for sharing.
Heads up they've said it's gonna be a while until Season 4 and that they're changing the upload schedule to be more like 60 was (bunch in a burst with large gaps between) Also that it's gonna be more humorous than the Cell saga was
I've never clicked on a video link so fast in my life. Everything about you is beautiful please continue to do what you do and I hope you do a reaction when the movie comes out
I love how she watches these. She's the cutest realest nerd. I couldn't stand seeing her cry though. Half of me is like "(>^-^)> hug?" And the other half is like "haha... First time?"
Man so I’ve been watching reaction videos today and omg. I feel like half of the people watch the video before they make a video to their reaction. Some of it feels disingenuous or over the top. This is why I’ve been waiting to watch you all day. Yours actually feels “real”
And 40 minutes later, rewatching it "with you" was a great moment. I watched it on twitch first ... the Goku speech explaining "this is goodbye for now" ... my eyes was moist. TFS sublimated DBZ. I guess a lot of people had something in their eyes during that episode. For me, the Buu Saga is the weakest part of the show, even now I didn't bother to watch it until the end, just read the manga version. But I know when DBZA will be back I will too both to watch it and watch your vids. One last thing I guess you missed : At the very end, Iook at #16 picture again, above his head ... That makes me shread a tear or two, too ....
You know, everyone laughs at the 'down an arm and killed by an android, why does this feel oddly familiar?' line. But I was honestly shocked by it, because it is true, and I can't help but wonder if one situation-whichever came out first- was inspired by the other. Because that is actually a very interesting parallel
You may have missed this, but the reason King Kai was angry at Yamcha was cause the wish was to revive everyone Cell killed on 'Earth' not everyone Cell Killed so King Kai wasnt wished back... and he is quite miffed about that lol
I agree, Perfect Cell was the best villain in the Z series. Also, Dragon Ball R&R just dropped an episode 2 on UA-cam. You really should react to the series as they go on. Dragon Ball R&R is a what-if fan-fiction made by Team Four Star's MasakoX.
I would like to see a beam struggle between the Old Broly and Super Perfect Cell, Broly's Omega Blaster against Cell's Solar Kamehameha and also, Broly's Omega Blaster against Teen Gohan Father-son Kamehameha, with both arms.
I was going to say it seems like I'm one of the only people who like the high school episodes pre-Buu but then I watched the last bit of the video. Seems like I'm one of the few who like it then.
I was so happy to see the promise of season 4 at the end. I wonder what they'll do with the Bojack Unbound movie. I think that it should be either a Halloween special or they should make him Krampus.
That one remix at the beginning was actually Stephan, who was kind enough to lend a hand while I was working on other tracks. :D

Maybe it was something Shueisha concluded and not a Toriyama interview? Need to rifle through that stuff again.
After 5 long Years, It's finally over.... 3)
'the way she laughed at "dramatic finish"' was way too adorable ☺️
What I love about you're reactions is you get all the references. You're a true fan that knows her stuff.
they used we were angels when goku told he would stay in the other world, and that represents the buu saga beginning and the scene with goku having wings and fading away
Ah thank you for clearing that up about Vegeta only distracting Cell; that was one criticism I had. But your arguments make sense and I am happy they did so
So excitable. Every reaction you do has like, ten times the energy of any others I watch. It's pretty funny.
(30:26-30:37) Gaby.....seriously......DO A COVER.
Where do we sign up for this? Just maybe, get the music box version and cover the hell out of it =D
I think she'll do an AMAZING cover
I was into the original dub of the anime growing up and the abridged series was what got me back into the series in general as an adult.
Me personally, I hope the Earth doesn’t implode before the Buu Saga wraps up because that was the main one I remember watching a lot of as a kid.
You madam.... know your Dragonball. You have a new subscriber. Also, I love that you talk about the music and where it's from sometimes. Please do more of that, because we love it!
26:31
That scene right there is what i hear when i tell my story life to my friends.
"that's depressing.. AND hilarious."
I wouldn't worry too much about how TFS treats Teen Gohan. They have proven that they have a mature, nuanced, and commpassionate view of the show and the characters within, and that includes Gohan. I have faith in them
There WAS that “Gohan becomes the strongest in the universe and still doesn’t do crap” joke from Bardock, but that was a few years ago now
@@MozillaVulpix i think that is mostly to show the frustration among the Gohan fans that he just isn't relevant anymore.
"Is this a metaphor for DBZA?" I thought the same thing. I was so concerned about that.
12:34 - Be advised, suspicious sounding "yes!" about to come.
12:36 You know, I was wondering why they left out the part where Krillin, Tien, Piccolo, and Yamcha join the fight.
Filler... too bad ,I really liked that because they were all together helping Gohan...
The way she explained Kaiser's opinion makes sense. It really did take away from Vegeta's moment. Especially based on how Vegeta was a focus in this episode.
@@Pokemonleafmon It sacrificed the others characterization for the sake of one characters bragging rights.
It was totally a metaphor for DBZa...still waiting for that right time
Not going to lie, your excitement squeaks are the most adorable things ever xD
This show ending really hits me. I literally use this show to see how much my english has grow over the years (English is my second language and I used to practice listening to this abridge xD). Now that it ended... (for now yeah, but still) it really hits hard ;w;
Great reaction!
Gohan is the kind of guy who'd go to the gym at least once a month, while all the other Saiyans never leave the damn place.
I just love how much the music excites you
You're great, Gaby. You're just like Gohan, probably more than you think (and that's part of it). You are both sharp and tender, and always smart enough to make yourself grow for and from the thing(s) you love. Stay well, Gaby. I guess I'll see your next reaction in a while. Thanks for sharing.
Heads up they've said it's gonna be a while until Season 4 and that they're changing the upload schedule to be more like 60 was (bunch in a burst with large gaps between) Also that it's gonna be more humorous than the Cell saga was
I think it's gonna be like their Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged series.
Cell saga had alot of serious parts. Buu saga didnt have as much so they can bring more funny.
@@solusdeath i just hope that Vegeta's sacrifice and his speech to Goku are taken seriously
Amazing episode. Awesome reaction. Sad to see it finish but loved every bit of it
The remixes were the most epic thing in this special, i also hope they release the soundtrack soon :D
Just found your dbz watch through. You're laugh. How excited you seem to get. All enjoyable. 😁🌹🌹🌹 Thanks.
I've never clicked on a video link so fast in my life. Everything about you is beautiful please continue to do what you do and I hope you do a reaction when the movie comes out
this episode have everything worth the year waiting for this
ps. you laugh is the most adorable in the world
I love watching your reaction, you seem like someone I used watch anime with. I genuinely enjoy your videos keep doing them please.
On the hunt for a reactor to cry at the android 16 image
Yup, Goku's speech was a metaphor for DBZA, because they wrote the episode so that it could be a series finale if they had decided to end it here.
I support this completely and I love cell in the background
So I just recently saw a Dragonball FighterZ video, I now get the Dramatic Finish bit.
Cell went out PERFECT
And with your reaction, It's finished. Time to rewatch from the beginning...
I just realized Tien predicted Vegeta going majin
holy shit
I guess that third eye DOES make him psychic
I love how she watches these. She's the cutest realest nerd. I couldn't stand seeing her cry though. Half of me is like "(>^-^)> hug?" And the other half is like "haha... First time?"
I'm glad someone else wants that music box remix.
Man so I’ve been watching reaction videos today and omg. I feel like half of the people watch the video before they make a video to their reaction. Some of it feels disingenuous or over the top. This is why I’ve been waiting to watch you all day. Yours actually feels “real”
Facts
I agree fully
indeed
People always bring up accusations of faking reactions but honestly you'd be surprised what a genuine reaction can look like.
Next time on Dragon ball z Abridged, bojack unbound, trunks going back to his time and cleaning house, and the start of the buu saga
You are still my favorite reactor. Can't wait to see you back in season 4 and Bojack unbound!
I just noticed they didnt bleep Gohans " We are Fucked"
Loved your reaction, especially during Goku's speech. May be a fan dub but that was emotional.
I lost it at the Dramatic Finish part
these three get better every time you watch them. I was underwhelmed the first time, and now I'm not.
Your awesome gabby and I love your reaction vids. That music box is the shit too :P Merry XMAS everyone
My Way will always be my favorite TFS moment.
It’s a bit late but damn it girl i cried at goku Encouraging gohan too, you’re reaction is so genuine I love it.
I like how they portrayed this cell he's a mix of high class and self righteousness I can't wait to see how their going to do buu suga
:calls off plans to blow up the world because he doesn't want to make Gabby sad:
I love your singing of Day of Fate Soul vs Soul through the end credits of DBZA.👍👍 I’ll give it a 10/10, the best.
I really hope they give the Saiyaman arc some well deserved loving.
You know, after Kaiser is done looking through Dream Daddy Bowser fanart.
The clip show... was Cell's life flashing before his eyes
Goodness, I love that big, beautiful smile and big, beautiful nerdy brain of yours.
Cell is my second favorite villain of all DB series...and you also look so cute when you're crying of joy !
And here I thought my mind was wrong when I thought it was everybody glad to see that was an edit
