One hack I used as a lunch lady, I always seemed to have to use some kind of food coloring when I was wearing light color uniforms. To get the food color off of uniform I would stretch clothing over sink and slowly pour boiling water over spot. My daughter was a diesel mechanic and she found out that after she washed hands very good that the grease that refused to come off, would come off when eating greasy pepperoni pizza. Let that sink in folks... pizza grease ate the diesel grease off her hands!
Hi Liz. I enjoy your channel. PLEASE KEEP Amazon more expensive items OUT of your headlined "Dollar Tree" videos. Otherwise, it appears deceptive. Thank you!!
I tried this recipe for air dry clay and it worked great. 1½ cup corn starch, 1 cup school glue, 1 tbsp white vinegar, 1 tsp lotion, 1 tbsp baby oil. Mix it all together and then add additional corn starch till you have a difficult time stirring. No cook. I tried it and used cookie cutters just to see if it cracked when it dries. It didn't and dried overnight. I will definitely try it again.
Oh my goodness…denture cleaner for lids and cups!!!! Been using it for my retainer, the case and toothbrushes too. Didn’t realize that I was on to something👍🏽👍🏽
Artist here. To get paint off I use Murphy Oil Soap full strength. Mix in some coffee grounds or baking soda for scrubbing (wipe off grounds with paper towels in trash) then scrub, rinse, pat dry and add some coconut oil/shea butter/olive oil etc. I use LA Awesome in like manne
For cleaning your hands of paint, add something to what you are doing. Use ANY oil (cooking oil, jojoba oil etc), and rub it into your hands. Now add a spoonful of regular sugar and then a little soap (any soft soap will work), and rub rub rub. Then add a little water, suds up and rinse off. The sugar won't pit or mar your hands because it will eventually melt. And your hands will feel so soft and smooth. I taught my brother and also some friends who did windshield replacement and they stopped using borax to get grime and grease and products off their hands. They all said this worked better! Rose
So right!! Sounds like my MK Satin hands set. Works like this and lasts through several washes after that. My husband did it to remove auto grease from his hands and loved it. No more goo- gone!
@@aunt_b3365 actually I used to sell Jafra Cosmetics and to demonstrate their Royal Almond products, we used to use the Royal Almond Oil, the sugar, then the Royal Almond Shower Gel. Lather off, dry the hands and apply the Royal Almond Lotion. I don't even know if they make it any longer. But it works so well!
I love your kitchen! I really miss my double basin sinks. My builder installed a large basin single sink and I hate it. I love the white cabinets and lovely quartzite counters
Love these hacks! great ideas and finds I didn't know where at DT. I definitely could use the little bag sealer. I'll be on the look out for a lot from this. Thanks for sharing!!
For staining wood use vanilla, the same delicious flavoring that is used in ice cream and baked goods. Paint it on and wipe off any excess. Smells great, too!
I'm sure that would work. On the other hand, vanilla (even the artificial kind) is SO MUCH more expensive than instant coffee, so I would probably cringe inside every time I looked at the stained wood piece!
@@mals86if you have dollar tree near you they usually sell it in the seasoning area. I have found the imitation and the real vanilla flavor for $1 and also $1.25 when the price changed as well. I hope you can find it. Blessings to you.
You can boil tea and let it sit, along with old coffee in the pot that Willson wood really nice. Also the round desk vacuum at dollar tree works really well.
Thank you for sharing your "hacks"! There are several I'd like to try! My favorite hacks are the steam cleaner for the windows, the denture tablets for the lids, and the Shrinky paper. I bought Shrinky paper almost a year ago, but I have been too scared to use it. You've inspired me to use it finally :)
Thank you so much for showing your fails as well. It’s nice to know that you’re not afraid to do that. All of these are great I really do like the idea of using art to hide supplies I also love your hair and your outfit 🤩 Great video 😊❤
Love so many of these HACKS! For the modgePod rope tray, use actual plastic wrap and not PressNSeal which is more waxy. The plastic wrap will come off a lot easier. :)
Hacks, Liz I love your videos! I'm a new subscriber and have been binging for a few days. I have so many unfinished craft projects and you have really given me a lot of great ideas!!! Thanks so much! 🥰

I use whatever hand lotion I have. Use it like normal, let it set for a few minutes, then wash like normal.
Thanks!
I came to say this. My uncle was a mechanic and you could never tell looking at his hands.
I knew coffee could be used to stain wood, I didn’t know you could use instant coffee. Going to try this on some wood rings I have. ♥️
Let me know how it turns out!
Definitely trying the food coloring vases. Thanks for everything Liz!
