USC J, we are in good business with the NIL, I say this because I haven't heard any of our coaches complaining about anything. I think Lincoln Riley wants our defense department to improve mightly. Lincoln Riley knows he doesn't have an offensive problem like he does on the defensive side. Lincoln I think is using wisdom on the NIl. He knows theirs s lot of promises that have been made to a lot of recruiting at other universities and it's coming down to time to make them promises. Lincoln Riley isn't going to do that he's going to be able to make them promises to be kept. So Lincoln has taken a slow approach to the NIL. I think he's testing the water on who really wants to be at USC vs the NIL money. It's been proven that money doesn't make a player want to play harder but wanting to be their whole hearted is a plus of willing to work hard to learn, plus the money makes it even sweeter. Our recruiting will get better, it's just taking time to get it cracking

USC has a dilemma on their hands. Moss has several years left and he is the assumed starter. Playing time is going to be an issue, a big issue. Will Ju Ju be able to play at SC or is he going to go the route of Nelson in a year or two if Moss remains the main focus? Timing wise, a 2026 top QB makes more sense. SC risks losing whoever the 2025 QB they sign to the transfer portal. Either Moss or the 2025 QB will be hitting the transfer poral in 2025-2026.

Oregon has Nike..SC doesn't have that fountain. Why hasn't SC built out a football complex and gone all out like Oregon? They don't have the people and corporations that believe in the importance of football. Miami and SC are very similar. Two programs with winning traditions that have been down for 20 years. Miami will make it back because they have a healthy stream of cash to delegate to football. SC does not. Oregon's new practice stadium going up next year is better than most school playing stadiums. You cant compete if you don't delegate money. SC will never be back if they don't find a billion dollar source that will feed its football program.
