I saw BC in 2006 at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. They blew me away. I was right up in front the closest I ever been to the stage. One of the best live shows I ever saw. I actually met Ice T a few months earlier at the LAX. Cool guy. He actually talked to me for a few minutes.
Hi John!!! Yeah, i also think Body Count is now more "accepted" and appreciated as a band with a couple of albums in their career, back them when they first release their self tittle album it was seeing as an "oddity" because it wasn't a common thing to see a well knowm rapper as a lead singer of a metal band and had nothing to do with latter nu-metal/rap bands. I still like that first record very much, it's a fun record to listen and if you still have that cd with "Cop Killer" that's awesome..... cheers and be well
I bought an advanced copy of this album on vinyl last week. I got the limited edition cold-blooded blue vinyl variant. Also, anytime I hear the chainsaw on "Psychopath", I can't help but think of that episode of The Simpsons where Homer comes busting into Bart's room wielding a chainsaw and wearing a hockey mask.
I've always known about this band, but then I heard the new comfortably numb and was fascinated. So I listened to the whole new album. It freaking rocks. So then I went back and put on the first album just to get a feel for it. I'm gonna say it now: the song Body Count off that album is one of the best things I've ever heard from any metal band. Not sorry not sorry. 🤷 Top notch musicians and these guys still give af. You can just hear it.

That's so cool.

Yeah, the first album is awesome.
I definitely feel Body Count got better now than they were during the early 90's.
Yeah, I didn't like their albums after their debut, I should give them another chance someday.
Ice T did a song with Gary Meskil’s band Pro-Pain called Put the Lights Out from the album The Truth Hurts. . Great song. Check it out!
Cool. I haven't heard it.
Body Count needs to get together w/ Max Resist n' do a tour called " ebony n' ivory clash of the titans *hahahahahaha* !!!
That would be cool
Who in the hell is Max Resist???
