Absolutely! Based on my experience as an RV'er for the past 10 years, comfort while sleeping is THE most important thing.
You know it💃🏻🙌🏼💪🏼
7:39 we can hear u. great video ...thank u. Please pray for rain in Robertson County Texas ...our trees are dieing😢 soooo hot no rain
Oh no…. I will🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The best part of a DIY is that you "know your van", you know how everything is connected and can easily adapt as your needs adapt. That really was a win using the passenger side as a fold out bed. stay safe out there.
You know better than I 😝🤗💪🏼 Miss you!!!
@@LadyBugout miss you
⛈🌧 Listning to the rain on your van roof was like sitting in my little connect van here in dear old Blighty 🇬🇧 stay safe ❤
Love that!☺️
I put sound defending in the same thickness as the height of the ridges in between them, then a layer of thin isolation, before the thinnest plywood I could get, got cut to fit and put on top.
(I think there are videos on my channel)
Then I put a rug on top of that, my car has an even lower ceiling than yours, therefore the floor is really thin and lightweight.. 😊
But most importantly, flat. 😉
Even with the new waterstorage, you can still use the pump, just move the hose from tank to tank as they empty. 😉
Just like the tap, you can have one lid which the hose goes thru, that you move from tank to tank.
I bought one of those "waterbubble" storage tanks, which conform to spaces, so you don't need a square to fit them in. And they fold out of the way as they empty.
But they are flimsy, meaning that they don't stay firm on the surface as you use them.
Meaning it can be both a blessing and a curse, especially using it like you do.
But for the pump, they're probably good, especially as they fold from lack of air getting in.
So the pump won't struggle with vacuum building up.
I just finished my new bed design, but are already wondering if I should change it up again.
Change the whole build for the third time.. 😂
Sounds like you did it right! Lol, yes always a work in progress☺️
Love your van! A bunch of small van conversions popped up in my feed this week, and my only thought was that none were as homely as yours. You've created something special there.
That is quite a compliment. Thank you for your encouraging words🥰💃🏻🚗🐞
I'm guessing that you meant homey not homely... damn autocorrect 😉
It’s always a work in progress, isn’t it? Even if the bulk of things work well, there’s always more to be done to make it juuuuuust right. I know this feeling. Hehe.
Always !!!!!🤪
Your hair looks fabulous. You always have great advice. Love any simple system, like your water and sleeping area now. You learn as you go
Yes, I thought my set up was simple to begin with, but I keep finding more ways to simplify 😜
Always appreciate your thoughtful, common sense reasoning for why you choose what you choose and your sharing your experience, thought process, and tips. They are quite helpful! Best wishes!!!
I’m so glad they are helpful. That’s why I do this💃🏻🐞🙌🏼
I love how over time simplicity comes.
It’s like the simpler things get, the simpler I keep wanting to go lol😜
Another Great Video 👍
Thanks for the visit! ☺️
Hello, just subscribed, I too have a Connect and recently bought some rain deflectors. Much like yourself I bought them to give myself a bit of fresh air when sleeping, I still wake up though a bit breathless so your idea of getting a small fan next to the slightly open window might help. Just now ordered one so thanks for the advice.
Glad it was helpful and welcome to the channel💃🏻🐞🚗
Thank you, Dee. You always come up with such helpful ideas.
You are so welcome, Tom😊
Flooring is tricky if the van has limited interior height. Always a compromise.
Yes, indeed!
Taking notes of your suggestions! Thanks Dee! Have a nice weekend! ❤
You are so welcome! You too☺️
Thank you for sharing this with us today. Everyone stay safe, happy and healthy. You are have way to much fun. From Henrico County Virginia
You are welcome, Norm!
A comfortable space to sleep & lounge is spot on ! I was wondering if you set up outside , cook outside , & have a chair & table ... I enjoy utilizing the great outdoors as my living space as much as possible ... it's always a pleasure to watch your youtube production ... I am glad your thriving out there ... some folks really have a difficult time adjusting to having so much time on their hands ... to soak up nature while relaxing as an observer .. for some folks it doesn't fill their void for activity .. these often are bored easily ... it doesn't occur to many how they might blend into their surroundings as the wild life are accustom to living ...
I do have a table and chair to lounge/cook outside. I do that more when I’m with others caravaning. When I’m by myself I am usually out and about during the day and closed up inside by nightfall depending on the area I’m in.
I totally understand. I usually don't camp with others... When I do I also don't usually set up outside either.. & when out & about I close up shop as well .. awesome 😎 !
Hi Dee, I know this is off topic, but I need help. How do you go about utilizing the great outdoors as your living space without getting eaten up by bugs and stung by flying insects? I am an avid Gardner and keeping bugs off me is my biggest challenge. I garden in long sleeve shirts and long pants, and socks, but still the bugs, bug me. I lather my self in peppermint essential oil, but nothing seem to work well for me. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated as gardening is my main hobby right now. I have gotten stung by bees and wasps, not fun.
@@ronniemead805 Hey Ronnie, that is a tough one. I do use peppermint spray inside the van and it seems to keep bugs away. Outside I, too, wear clothing gear that is mesh or netted to keep them away. Depends where I am and how many. I try to stay in when it is dusk or dawn when they tend to be out in larger numbers. I had a mosquito watch that worked well-I gave it away to someone who needed it more than me, but intend to get another one. I also use citronella tea candles outside near where I will be sitting. Hope that helps. (They do have little devices to wear on belts too if you are working or walking out and about that are like the mosquito watch that emits a little frequency that bugs do not like). Hope this helps a little. 🙌🏼💃🏻💪🏼
@@LadyBugout Thank you so much for replying, I so appreciate you. 🥰
Hi Dee, I love your skinny water container. I’m going to look for some! Completely off-topic, but I love your hair! Take care my friend ❤️😊
They are the best containers. I think I put the link for them there somewhere. I have been loving the process of going lighter with my hair. Stylist says it’ll take two years to start blending out my greys!!! She is making the change easier with her awesome skills🤪
Such good things for me to think about. Thanks Dee! Always good to see you!
You are so welcome, Rita. Good to see you too☺️
I couldn't agree more - a good night's sleep has to be number one on the list! And, as I have said before - easy access to making my morning cuppa! I am glad to see you are enjoying your tiny home. Even though I don't get to stay in mine all the time, I love being there. It is so peaceful, cozy, and easy! If you ever decide to add the plywood all you need for the FTC 2010 is a 4 by 6 piece. I didn't nail mine down. It is pretty heavy. I topped mine with soft yoga mat stuff. I love the carpet, but I carry my ebike back there and it would get pretty destroyed! I have linoleum and with the soft mat underneath it is very comfy to sit on the floor.
Lol… yes, gotta have access to the coffee😝 Yep, just like my area rug a 4x6 plywood piece would fit perfectly.💃🏻💪🏼🙌🏼
You make the little van amazing
Thank you☺️
@@LadyBugout your welcome. Love to follow your adventures
I appreciate your down to earth practical videos so much. You have such amazing ideas and updateds. 😊
Thank you so much! I’m glad they are useful in some way☺️
I love the new size of water containers. Easier to handle and move and refill as well.👍 Do you feel that living minimally encourages you to naturally become even more minimalist? I was wondering that when you were discussing the bed situation and how you love the ease of the passenger seat area bed. Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this video, very interesting and you are thoughtful to share 🥰 have an awesome week Dee, we will see you in your next one!
Had the same rigid white water containers initially but they were heavy, spout unreliable & couldn't clean interior. Currently using recycled V-8 juice bottles (52 oz size) Can squeeze them in corners & shape easy to grasp. Looked at universal spouts (8 months ago) but haven't ordered them. The screw cap is good enough. They're darn sturdy been dropped 3 feet onto pavement and nary a leak.
Yes, definitely. I thought my build was pretty simple before. But the more time goes by, I keep simplifying more and more😝
I think that's great! I need to be that way😄@@LadyBugout
I added those small containers to my next order. I already dropped from 5 gallons to 3 gallons, but water is heavy!
@@RebeccaTreeseed they are so much easier to manage.
hi Dee, your van is amazing, love so much your ideas, the slim water thanks, etc.
You are so welcome!☺️
That was another fun video again, Dee!
I think that no matter what your camper looks like, there is always something you would like to change. That will probably never stop!
I can especially imagine how you deal with your sleeping place now. It's a lot easier that way!
I wish you a good weekend!
So true!😝
I really enjoy watching and learning from your videos. Thank you. I admire the simplicity of your choices you make in order to live a simple life that has so much purpose. God bless
Glad you like them!
Thank you so much for your videos. I have used and modified some of the things you did. You provide a great jumping off point and then we can adjust to meet our own individual needs.
So glad it’s helpful🤗💃🏻🙌🏼
Hey Ms. Dee ! In our shuttle bus "Serenity", the rubber ribbed flooring was in good shape, and after adding kitchen counter, storage and bed, there is only a "hallway" left. Two outdoor type carpet runners cover most of that, at night and during travel the dog beds cover most of the carpet. Spending time and money on the floor didn't make sense to me. We carry a small vaccume, but also can just take the carpet out and shake 'em. If they get muddy, hang 'em up and hose 'em down.
Yep!!! Sounds like you figured out what I found out too😝
Do you have videos of your shuttlebus?
@@bsavi62 I had a few on FB, from our first couple of years. We had a couple of shots on "Becoming Bev" , video of her first meet-up titled "Vanners meet Van Lifers". Next month we will be at her second one, had a great time last year, expect it will be as awesome as last year!
I just love your van❤ Thank you so so so much for sharing with us!!!😘
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching☺️
You always do a wonderfully planned out job on your van😁
Thank you! 😊
For the groves in the floor just fill in with plywood strips. No need to make a full floor out of plywood since you put pad or carpet on top.
Thanks for the tip!💃🏻🙌🏼💪🏼
Hello from the heart ❤️ of Illinois USA 🇺🇸.
Hello! 👋🏼
Love the new water container(s). The shape and weight when full is a big deal. 💦
It really is! I’ve been loving them too☺️
Good stuff!❤
Thanks 🐞💃🏻🚗
You are so creative and your van interior design is very attractive. Great job! My van's floor is also undulated with a rubber mat over it. Like you I placed a thick carpet over the rubber mat and use an area rug along the bed (a Coleman camp cot). Inside the sliding door is a comfort kitchen pad that can be easily cleaned with a large Crocodile wet wipe (Home Depot). I have changed my interior several times and minimalized the "stuff" set up, giving more floor space. You have provided many great ideas 💡👍👌😀.
Sounds like you have a great set up too!
You've made a lovely tiny home in your Van ! It's just beautiful ❤️ it !👍🙂🤗
Thank you! 😊
Hey hey Dee 🤗
First off ur looking sooo good 😉
I still love ur little "day bed 2.0"
Lol ur always glowing lol 😉
Nice to see ya ☺️💫🙏😘🌱
Hahahaha! Just glowing more than usual 😂 miss you girl 🥰
Floor - Have you considered using closed cell foam, like what's used on yoga mats? It would help your floor feel padded, perhaps warmer and might help the uneven feeling go away. there are different thicknesses as well. just a thought...
That’s an awesome idea! I’ll have to think about how I’d incorporate that…
Thank you for another great video. I'm so blessed to have a garage at home base. I have power tools too. If you ever want to do a project maybe we could connect and you can use my space during the day and there is nice camping nearby. Maynard s Home Depot and Lowe's are close by too. Your build is really functional and aesthetic as it is though. It makes you wonder why I have only done minimal builds. Well in my defense I have been doing upgrades and updating the house. Thank you again for taking us along on your journey.
I appreciate that, Anita! It’s good that you have the space and tools. And good to get projects done whether it’s a house or van!!!
Your hair looks nice and you seem so relaxed. I enjoy your videos very much
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy them🥰
Very helpful video. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!🥰
Hi Dee from Australia. Thanks for posting. I am interested in the comment you made regarding using wool mats instead of sheets on your beds. I have never heard of this. It sounds interesting. Do you need to wash the wool mats as frequently as you would sheets?
I find wool too itchy. I use lightweight polar fleece blankets. They wash & dry as easy as sheets.
I first started using wool blankets in Bolivia where I learned it from Quechuan Indians who did it in lieu of cotton sheets. You do not have to wash it as often because wool has natural antibacterial and moisture wicking properties that make it last quite a while. If you get alpaca wool it is expensive here-but less itchy. Or as @jessiehead6525 suggests, you can use fleece blankets as well.☺️
💃🐞Dee 🚗 TY for sharing your journey & continuing share your growth on the way ! ❤️The simplicity of your bed & That it's compact & comfortable! Would a plastic covered exercise mat with a lanolim on top of it work in your walking way to possibly smooth it out 🤔 There's probably a lot of viewers with ideas to share & may have a solution for it 🤔 Maybe they'll share as you share everything with us that's helpful !🤔
Great video 🤗👍Be safe/Be Happy! I'll see you on the next video Dee🙂
💃🏻🚗🐞
Dear Dee u make me chuckle bout your floor scenario…I understand that it would not bother me and I love your little cabinet area..enjoyed your sharing …be safe and careful!
Thank you Vicki! I’ll see how my knees like it😜 That may be the thing that gets me to change lol!!!!
I'm at a point in life now, where I want to do some US traveling. I really appreciate your videos for the simplicity to which you live, that matches how I live now. I'll be taking a lot of your tips and ways of life with me on my journey. Thank you for sharing!
I’m so glad it is helpful! Have fun on your journey💃🏻🐞🚗
That is all such good advice. Especially about designing the build around the bed. I will start experimenting with what I think will be comfortable. I'm a disabled gal so a comfortable bed that doesn't require too much fuss is very important. Interesting about the water pump! I like your style of keeping things very simple. The flash stuff is great. Until it breaks down.
Hello, another disabled lady here who wants minimal fuss when I need to rest my back. I just got a 2012 transit connect van a few weeks ago, and I settled on a chaise lounge, like on a pool deck. I adjust the passenger seat back to fit (it is extra long, but it works). On top of that I use a 4" 30x72 firm foam pad layered on top of an Ikea kids foldable exercise mat. I wrapped a twin size mattress pad around the combo foam & Ikea mat and pinned and duct taped it at the center underneath. It's pretty darn comfortable, and there's good storage room under the bed 😊
This might work for you.
@@MaryMcClintock-d4t Thank you for those suggestions. I will definitely be trying that out. I'm going to be doing some "inside camping" until I've got the bed worked out. The Connects are as rare as hens teeth in this country. But it's fun figuring it all out, isn't it. I've found myself stuck at home, going nowhere because I worry about getting too sick to safely drive myself home. But if I can take my sick bed with me, well, game changer!!! All the best for your travels!
Yes, the simpler the better!😝
Hi Dee - if & when you do decide to go for plywood floor: my husband & I used extra strong zip ties to attach our floor to the existing metal tie down loops. It is removable. Then we put a pad we had that a rowing machine sat on (rowing machine fits on a yoga mat 👍🏻) so that pad is soft (happy knees) but also has a more slippery surface so we can easily move our folding sofa forward & easily clean it. And then I have a very small area rug just in front of the sofa - although I would like a larger wool one someday for extra insulation 🤔 But so far so good. 👍🏻 We cannot leave the farm as much as we would like but this does work for us the few times we have used it. And it lets us still use our van for farm supplies too. Best of both worlds! 🥰
That is great advice! Thank you for the suggestions. It will be a while before I attempt another big change like flooring, but this helps!!!
@@LadyBugout 💕
You have good ideas that help out , good engineering.
I’m glad you find the ideas helpful. I love inventing 😜
Am taking my first trip in a Chevrolet Express Cargo Van. So far have not built anything. Have only stayed at Truck Stops so water and food set up is not decided on yet. Just got my bed setup figured out.
That’s a great way to go about it-little by little as you figure out what’s necessary!☺️
I always wonder how you keep that rug so clean given all the muddy and dusty environments,
Yep, that’s why I explained it-I’ve had some questions about it☺️
I always enjoy your videos, they are mindful, functional and of beauty. Great tips:)
Thank you so much!🥰
@@LadyBugout 😊
Neat and tidy…Have fun stay safe.
Thanks! 🤗
Hi Dee, great idea for the water containers.
I like the simplicity of them.
Wrt the floor: if you ever decide to put down plywood, I highly recommend putting down some insulation under the ply. It makes a huge difference in retaining heat (or cool) and costs very little.
I always enjoy your videos and your kind demeanour.
Keep ‘‘em coming! 🤗
Thanks for the tips! The rubber already seems to have some insulating effect. But, point taken☺️
Good stuffs as always Dee!🥰 I wouldn't change a darn thing on your setup!😁 I do love that thin water jug though!
Thank you, Tim!!! Always enjoy your inventions 😊
I love ❤️ your hair, I love your red van.
Thank you! ☺️
Love the van design tips…but…Would love to hear a little bit about what you are up to and where you are traveling. Nothing specific (for your security) but general vanlife lifestyle
Thank you! That will be mixed in at times too. I appreciate the feedback☺️
@@LadyBugout wanna hear more about YOU girl🥰
Love the videos and the insight for the build!
Awesome, thank you!
If you Heat steam-water you should have these dehumidifier packets... it's a slam-dunk for moisture.
Yep, I have charcoal moisture absorbing packs.
I modeled my van after yours. I have to update my channel but when I got started I added the plywood floor. I didn't do cutouts around the wheel well though. I just did 4 x 6 plywood. The guy at Loew's suggested it in case I wanted to mount something in place. I could attach it to the wood instead of the threw the rubber mat and into the metal. I am so behind in uploading videos. You are so encouraging. I just need to finish so Bella and I can take a little trip.
That is so cool!!! Your little dog reminds me of the stuffed one I bought. I gave it to a little girl who needed it more than I did 😝
@@LadyBugout That was very nice of you to do! I just love Bella and she's finally getting more settled riding in the van.
Thank you for confirming my thought that the bed is #1. I also garden and dehydrate produce. I learned that dehydrated food is so light weight and tasty. I think it is superior to a refrigerator. Kinda like homemade hiking meals.
Thanks for sharing! I have been looking into more dehydrated food myself. Glad to hear it holds its nutritional value💪🏼
@@LadyBugout I especially like making a delicious soup for one without long cooking times. Dehydrating concentrates the flavor, too. I am trying solar dehydration like the native Americans did, but they used smoke to keep flies off. I read about dehydrating in a car, but haven't tried it yet. Maybe during harvest when I have lots of free food.
@@RebeccaTreeseed I would be interested in knowing how to do that from a vehicle. Right now I am finding bits where I can here and there.😆
@@LadyBugout I will let you know if I can make it work. I small batch dehydrate cabbage because I can't eat a whole head, or turn red cabbage into canned relish, yummy on salads. It cans in 20 minutes on a campfire, since it is acidic and only needs a boiling water bath.
Do you think as you get older, that you’ll ever buy a tiny home in a community of Tiny homes, near a beach or woods with paths for hiking? And just use your van on the weekends?
I have been thinking about that actually. I chose this for now because I didn’t want to have to buy or rent an apartment or house that my kids would have to come to. This way I can go to them. But… I have been able to save up this way and every so often I look around for where I might find a good place to set up more permanently in the future!!!
Hi Dee. It's Tony I just wanted to say hi and wish you a great day and pleasant dreams see you in the next video
Thank you! You too!☺️
Love your tiny van Dee! I have benefitted so much from your ideas! My van came with a rubber mat that was attached to the floor and I just threw a rug over it. Between the two it seems to be thoroughly insulated. There are always things that I still want to change and diy van builds always seem to be a work in progress as we fine tune to our ever changing needs! Great video of that progression!
That is awesome! Yes, it’s always a work in progress💪🏼 and it’s fun and necessary to keep changing as we find out what works well and/or what doesn’t work anymore. Keep rollin’, Jen!!!!🥰
I am on my long journey to vandom- not to live in all year I've had decided for me by health issues, but much of it. I will keep my apartment and when I retire I shall be gone in blocks of 3 weeks. Then I can come home and use the facilities and get ready for the next trip. I don't know really it's all still planning. But I am 2 Months ahead with my rent, clear of all debt and have other accounts in credit and saving for my bus. Vehicle cost no more than £6000 and £2000 for the conversion. I also have my welding certificate now. I took classes. I can travel and earn money fixing things. I can cook too, so probably try to feed homeless people in winter on food waste from supermarkets. A D1+E driving license allow me to tow a trailer behind my bus. So I can work from there. I am now investigating residencies in former Russian territories like Turjigestan and Turkmenistan for a trip to the East.
That sounds like a wonderful plan, Mark! So much to look forward to!!!
Sounds like a great plan
Thats nice
WOW, 🦗 👀 @ my planner, oh my, I got my seats out finally.😊... Manifest away my friend, sounds like a plan!

Thank you. I am feeling well.💃🏻💪🏼🙌🏼
Useful. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!☺️
I wondered how you would wash the container. Between just rinsing them out, I thought there needed to be something more thorough.
Your smaller bed/chair is the mattress I use in my Honda
Which containers? That’s cool that you use the bed in your Honda! It would be perfect for that😊
@@LadyBugout I meant your new water containers. I feel like the containers need to be deeper cleaned sometimes. What do you think?
@@clarasmith1873 ahhhhh. When they are in constant use, they stay clean. It is only when water is stagnant for long periods of time in a non-sealed container that it may get funky. That is another benefit to the system. I rotate them out and the water that is stored is sealed until used. Doesn’t give time for slime build up lol 😆 which does happen when you have larger tanks that are not in use and grey water that is not changed. I don’t have to deal with either 💃🏻🙌🏼💪🏼
@@LadyBugout Good to know. I had never heard that before.

Love your van, it's so cute! Want to know when sleeping with window and door closed, what is your air ventilation system look like, can fresh air get in from anywhere?
It depends if it is cold or warm out. When cold, I slightly crack front window. In warmer weather I created and fitted metal framed vents. I did a video on it. I just forget now which one had it or I’d link it here. Basically I ordered metal car window vents with screens and then had to attach some more metal to make it fit my FTC front windows. Then, I have two fans to direct air flow. Hope that helps.
If you spill liquid you can get these puppy pet pads... it's a slam dunk for soaking up.
Great idea!

What were the sources you used for your cabinets. Like you mentioned, finding shallow ones can be a challenge.
I bought both from Amazon (under $100 I think). The links are in the description under ‘Kitchen Items’.
Hello. Good video. It’s helpful.
You have that blanket that rolls up into a pillow. What is the name of it? I think it’s a great idea. Thank you!
Thanks! The pillow is from voited.com ☺️
You are a Doll 🌹
Thank you!
I'm interested in the slim water containers, but I don't see them listed in your links. Can you add that one, please? Thank you!
Please 😊
The link is in the description under Kitchen items-Hudson 5L thin storage containers!!!
@@LadyBugout Thank you so much!! I found it now! I was thinking it was the "One Gallon Containers for Filter" because it was right near the Replacement Spiggots, but the link for that seems to be going to some screwtop jars so I wasn't sure if maybe it was a wrong link or something.
I am getting ready to go FT in a couple months and am needing to streamline my setup even further since I added fridge and power station. These slim water containers should fit perfectly. Thanks again!!
@@daniellekeister glad you found it… I should check and update those links-thanks for pointing it out.
How fun!!! I hope you enjoy yourself immensely🥰
@@LadyBugout Got my two containers yesterday and they are a gamechanger for me in my SUV setup. Thanks again!
Could you give me a link for your water containers please.
It should be in the description. Let me know if it’s not!
Hi I've just recently subscribed and haven't seen your earliest videos I have two questions
1. Is your flooring under your rug a solid piece of wood?
2. Your second bed does it have a base or is it on the floor of your van
I love your videos. Thank you 😊 regards Russell
The floor of my van came with a rubber matting. So I just put a rug over it. My second bed is on the floor.
Oh and…thank you for the kind words and welcome to the channel!💃🏻🐞🚗
Thanks ever so much for your response. I think my circumstances will not have to deal with cold conditions because I'm in South Africa. I look forward to your next video
I need some guidence about how to buy a van. I love yours. Its perfect! But I doubt I could afford that. Can you suggest any sites for fair used low cost vans.
I found mine on cars.com. It took me over a year and a lot of test drives😝 but I liked being able to put in the parameters of what I was searching for and have them show up in my feed so I then could narrow it down. Hope that helps.😊
@@LadyBugout thank you so much.
Hello🍃🧚🏼
What is the link for those new slimline water jugs with a Spicket?
I looked on your list, but I didn’t find it
..🙃unless I missed it somehow.
Those look really great. I couldn’t find them on Amazon, but I did put in BPA free in my search.
(Are those BPA free?)
Hudson 5L thin water storage containers: amzn.to/3S3Thnt Hope that helps. Yes they are BPA free. 🤗
Is this Martha Stewart living, vanlife edition?
💃🏻🙌🏼💪🏼
:)

What is your air conditioner situation like ?
I basically use the little ‘Noggle’ device to push the van AC to the back (like I do for heat as well). My van is so small, that is very efficient and takes about10 minutes to cool down. And I have 2 fans!
@@LadyBugout Nice !
I am saving cash for a Transit tall van. ( I am 6’ tall ). I will be putting an RV roof unit on it. Powered by a 3KW power station, a secondary alternator and a solar panel.
@@ThatGuy-mu2rr Nice! I know there are efficient AC units that you can hook up to solar. I just don't have experience with that. Have fun and best of luck!!!
@@LadyBugout I am a mechanic and electrician. This will be a fun project.
Why that van? Love the portholes but let in too little lite and u can't see much out them huh?
60. Unreal. Lookn great.
It’s a great van!
You dont feel afraid at night? Do you keep a weapon or pepper spray?
I rarely feel afraid. If I do… I move to some place I do feel safe☺️ and yes, my step dad is an ex police officer and marine- I am well trained☺️
😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👏👏👏😉😉👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️

You are in every single frame. Put the camera on the item you are talking about. Is this about you or the van?
Never saw the van but saw a lot of you. Very disappointing. Speak faster too.
You don’t have to watch! Thanks for stopping by.

I will!!!
Your hair looks gorgeous! So full and healthy!
Aww thanks-my hair has been good to me😝
I've heard it said that a van build is a perpetual project. So it is. Your new water system is the most practical, never saw the 4L containers before. They will go on my Amazon wish list now, absolutely a good modification. I will gift my new rechargeable pump. Thanks for the update.🐞
It definitely is a continual process. I thought I did things simple to begin with, but as I go on-I find even more simple things are even better😝
Another great video, so many ideas.I've always liked the little bed.
Thanks so much! 😊 Yes, me too.
I think you've made some great choices. Your van is really adorable and seems very liveable.
Thank you! 🙌🏼💃🏻🐞🚗
Looks good and I’m sure it has served you well. Enjoy for awhile because a new version is always around the corner! 😎
Very true! 😛
Dee, I have always liked your van...I love 2.0! Such a cozy little nest, that you can open the back doors to let all of nature in. If only I could just stand up. And, I'm with you on the area rug, even tho or maybe even because my trusty sidekick is a 90+lb bulldog. Much easier to clean or replace a rug than a whole floor. My van plan is not for full time. I would just like have to more options for camping rather than a yurt. Being on my knees is just not an option. And, hey, I hear that "undulating" floors are all the rage right now... But as I was watching that part I was thinking would a high quality super think carpet padding be more comfortable than plywood?
I agree! I would probably put a good padding on the plywood and area rug next time too.
YAY! The best smile on UA-cam is back! Your facial expressions make me smile BIG! Thanks. Great video, always gain great tips from watching!
Yay! Thank you! ☺️
Did you get highlights! It looks amazing
Thank you. I did! I talked about what I’m doing with my hair in a recent video-slowly transitioning to grey with a method of highlighting and strip dying 😜
Great tips - thank you!
Glad it was helpful!☺️
