Great video. I used to make doll houses like this when I was young. I always say every doll collector has a mini me and this doll is definitely yours. Stay blessed my friend ❤Dee
Thank you so much Dee. I also remember making little doll houses out of shoe boxes as a child. It was so fun and imaginative. You are very kind to say Ellowyne is my mini me. Thank you for the nice compliment. Big warm hugs to you.
I think this can be done with any box but this one in particular has the extra corner pieces and foam trays that are really useful! How do you like to organize your doll clothes? Thanks for watching :)
Oh my gosh look at your son's beautiful Kitty xoxox Ellowyne is just stunning. I'm watching this video as I type. This closet idea is fabulous. I can't wait to see where this goes! This is funny because I save those corner pieces, too!!! Now I know what to do with them, thanks to you!
Oh Hi! Yes Finn is a fluffy boy. he he. I hope you liked how the closet turned out. I have been using it and it's great! 😊👍 Thanks for stopping by my channel. 💖
@@CherishedDollFriends That was so spectacular! Well done!! I feel so inspired to use one of my boxes to try this. It is such a wonderful closet. Ellowyne looks so very happy! Such a gorgeous closet she has, now! I just love the starry night theme and the World Traveler vibe it brings. So elegant. Thank you for this precious video. I may watch it a second time if that's ok. It's just lovely.
I'm so glad you liked my doll closet! I was fairly happy with how it turned out. I kind of made it up as I went along. he he. Please watch it as many times as you like! You seem to be into crafting too. I don't do it often but I like to make things when I feel inspired. 😊💕😁
Thank you Dorie! I really enjoyed making it. It was not hard but a bit time consuming to make it look nice. Next time I might try a different paper theme. I appreciate your support!🥰
Thank you so much Tammy! I had a lot of fun making it and it's already been very useful! Did you buy any dolls today from VDC? I'm on the fence. Help! LOL
I am so happy that this inspired you. I was adding items to my closet last night and it was tons of fun! I made some hangers out of large paper clips that I bent into shape. Thanks for your nice comment. ☺️🙏
Yay I’m so glad you liked it!Thank you so much for watching. ❤ It was a project of necessity since I will be collecting more clothes for my Robert Tonner dolls. How do you like to organize your doll clothes?
@@CherishedDollFriends I actually organize them in bins with drawers that fit under my bathroom counter. I like the idea though of a closet the doll can use. It fills both needs: storage and doll furniture. It turned out really beautiful! 🥰
This is wonderful. I just happened to have one of these boxes from my AG doll. I will put a mirror on the interior and maybe something on the inside doors for her bags and hats. You are so imaginative. And I love the paper. Thank you so much.
Really cute and innovative! I love that scrapbook paper pack (I have that same one) - but it's such a nice choice of paper for the walls and doors of your closet! Love it!
This was a fun video. Kudos to you on this closet. I like crafting based on intuition too. You did a great job! I’m working on an armoire for my caring babies and looking forward to sharing it when done. Have a wonderful day!! 🥰
Oh thanks so much Jo! I appreciate your kind comments. I love crafting but I don't often have time to do it. I was happy with the result and now need to buy more LE AG girls because I love the way that particular box works especially with those corner pieces. I look forward to seeing your armoire! Cheers :)
I love this so much. You did such a great job and I love that it is modular/convertible. What a fun way to prepare for the new Ellowyne subscription box. I am so excited to receive my first VDC Ellowyne subscription box.
I appreciate that so much! I have enjoyed using it and it has been very helpful to be able to change things around and arrange things as I like. Yippee for the new Ellowyne subscription! 🎉
I love it Cheryl great job ! I watched this as I was doing my homework very relaxing and it turned out amazing ! I remember making an AG sized closet for my dolls when I was younger using shoe boxes and wooden dowels I still have it actually. Memories 🩷
Thanks Emma!❤ It was videos of the early AG box closets that inspired this project. I am glad it brought back good memories. Happy to hear you are working on your homework. I sound like such a Mom. lol ☺️
Very nicely done! It really looks nice. Paper and cardboard, that's the ticket and what makes it special is having fun in the process! I'm sure all your dollies feel the love you share! Enjoy your videos!🙂
Wonderful! I'm so glad you enjoyed this tutorial and that you can use some ideas from it. I also have a book case with a shelf that I want to turn into a doll room so I can't wait to see yours!
Hello my Cherished Doll Friends. I hope you enjoy making this closet as much as I did. Ellowyne and Neema are so excited for their new closet! You can use any box you like and customize to your preferences or doll size. Press pause on the list of things you will need at the beginning of the video. I would love to see your closets!❤ Please send me a picture by email! 🙏🥰💕
This is such a cute idea and you made such a nice job of it. I currently have all of Ellowyne and Neema's clothes and accessories in a mini cardboard suitcase which does work ok but everything tends to get mixed up and it would useful to have the clothes hanging so I can properly see what I have.
Your suitcase sounds like a good idea too. I had thought of trying to make a closet out a suitcase but I didn't have one on hand. I'm happy you like my idea. I may need to make another one for Neema. ;) Thanks so much for watching!
You did a beautiful “crafty” job on this, Cheryl ❤🎉❤. I’m thinking about using a small plastic tote if I can find an appropriate one. Then I can store it away and even move with it all intact. The more I see Ellowyne I am getting persuaded in getting one. Are they still making new ones? I am not into the ones made up with make up and on the scary side. Haha! Chris Tina
Hi Chris Tina, It is a good idea to make a closet out of something plastic that is more durable too, especially if you plan to travel or move with it. Virtual Doll Convention has just released a new Ellowyne doll and two Neema dolls by Robert Tonner that will be released this coming Saturday. The Ellowyne is very sweet looking in a pink dress and bonnet. They go fast. I hope you can get one!
Thank you Cheryl! Lovely! ❤Your closet turned out very pretty and does have a trunk look to it. I think I have that paper too. For some reason I was thinking isn't maybe a canvas like ribbon or canvas or leather used to trim trunks too? I thought maybe the plastic container you bought would fit into the foam shelf? I might need to get some of those plastic containers. I use one box I got from VDC for purses, another for shoes, etc. Haven't bought a Grace yet because I don't know when they will be released, and I haven't been collecting these dolls, except for about a year now. I did find some nice boxes that were pretty big at Joann's that were on sale that have stretch and button latch to store the clothes and accessories in. I should share mine too. You are talking about a doll group or community? What state are you in? I belong to a doll group and one of the members just set up her own studio to make wardrobes but they are very expensive. She had them at the holiday craft fair last year and now has rented a studio to make them. I looked online and really didn't find much. I did see a Robert Tonner wardrobe closet someone was selling on Ebay a couple months ago, and it was pricy. I just put all my smaller boxes into the bigger ones, but it would be nice to be able to hang them. I did see someone had a small space in a closet posted with some kind of wire storage rack that they were using to hang up the doll clothes. And hat racks made of those rotating jewelry trees. Happy doll days!👏 ❤❤❤🛍👠👡👒👗👖👕🧦👓🧥🧣🩱👢🪮👜👛👙👚I spend as much on a doll outfit or more than my own outfits. 😂🎉
HI Joy, Thank you for sharing with me. It sounds like you have really looked into doll closet ideas! I also saw the Robert Tonner one from a while ago. It's lovely but quite expensive and also heavy to have shipped. That's why I wanted to make my own from a box. There are so many ways one could make a doll closet using many of the materials you mention. Thank you for watching. I am in Canada. I am not involved in any doll clubs here yet. I think the one I was referring to was Rachel Hoffmans Virtual Doll convention. It's like an online doll club! I do have Grace as well and luckily she fits some of Ellowyne's clothes and some of Ello's fit her! Happy doll days to you as well!
Great idea making the doll closet from AG Limited Edition box. It looks great and also very useful for storage and as a display.
Thank you! 😊 I appreciate you watching and your kind comments.

What a beautiful closet! You did a wonderful job on it! A great way to recycle a cardboard box.
Thank you for your kind comment. I do like to re-use things when I can. It's fun to make something pretty and useful out of trash. :)
I love that!😍it turned out so nice!! Elowynne looks so happy!❤️

Congrats on over 1K subs! 🎈🥳🎉
