Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 😊...loved hearing about your Rhinebeck experience 😀
Great video! Thank you for posting this.
Your podcast came up as one I might like and I really did enjoy it.
Rhinebeck looks so much fun. I wish I will be able to go at least once in my lifetime. 😆 Thank for the vlog and also the yarn you buy are all so gorgeous. You have superb taste. 😘
Great choices!!
Just found u r podcast🌸great rhinebeck recap!!!!! Thank you❤️
I watch Inga too! Looks beautiful there! Someday ❤
What gorgeous colorways you bought. Rhinebeck is a dream of mine, 1 day. Thank you for the fun video.
Great podcast. Rhinebeck looked awesome! I'll be watching more of your podcasts.😊
I hear there were a few different entrance gates, so maybe that’s why people got to Ms Babs before you? I loved your recap of the festival. I’m scheming to attend next year!
There were at least two entrances that I know of, but we had planned to go through the one closest to Miss Babs so we could get there as quick as possible. I guess other people had faster feet 😁
Thanks for showing the footage of the llama and alpaca jumping!! That was fun to watch. Also, I would highly recommend rug hooking- it is more relaxing than knitting, because you don't need to keep track of patterns or count stitches. It's like coloring, only using wool! I put my smaller rugs on the walls, and have made a table runner. The yarns you bought are pretty, especially the red one!
I’m curious what kind of fabric you like to use for rug hooking? And where do you supply your rug hooking yarns versus your knitting yarns? Is this something I can do on a budget with Michael’s yarn? I’m super excited to try it 😊
@@Allwemakeisgood I use wool specifically for rug hooking which has been slightly felted, and you cut it into strips. So far only have found it on Etsy, or at shops that sell wool in bolts just for hooking. You can also use any yarns you would like, but I have only used yarn as accents in flowers etc. There are lots of UA-cam video tutorials out there on how to do it. I like linen as a backing material.
I placed order for "Magnificent Hooked Rugs" from Amazon. Thanks !
Love the coconut husk buttons! Enjoyed this podcast very much. Thanks for sharing!
I only wish I could have brought home more! They're so pretty
Thank you for sharing your trip, and your joy. So fun!
Thank you for an awesome recap of Rhinebeck! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Lucky you getting to go to Reinbeck & also meeting so many other knitters. I’ll be watching your podcast in the future. Your hair is beautiful! ❤
I watched your Podcast this morning and I am looking forward to hear more from you! I am also a a Massachusetts knitter I live on Cape Cod but was from the Metro West area Natick Framingham. I would love to go to Rhinebeck but I did go to the Vermont sheep and wool that was a miniature Rhinebeck done by all women farmers.
I was almost going to go to the Vermont festival but I ended up getting sick, I’m thinking next year I will try to go. How did you like it? Did you see Skeinsofdreams podcast about it?
Great video!
Are you going to The Fiber Festival of New England? I'm so excited to go!
Yes! I just heard about it recently but I definitely plan to go
Glad you had such a great time at the festival. The weather was absolutely perfect for it. I went Saturday afternoon, as I live relatively close by so could just pop in. So much fabulous fiber!! 😮 🧶 Next stop: The Annual Fiber Festival at the Eastern States Exposition (Big E). 👍🏻🧦
I just heard about there being a fiber festival at the Big E at Rhinebeck! I can't believe I've never gone but I think I'm going to try to go this year for the first time
Me too! I go to the Adirondack Sheep and Wool at the Washington County Fairgrounds in September most years. That’s a really nice one. This was my third time at Rhinebeck. But I’ve never been to the one at the Big E. I heard about it from the people at Perfect Blend (yarn and tea shop) in Saugherties. Maybe I’ll see you there! 😊
So happy I ran across you today! Your video just popped up and it was such a joy to watch! I could feel your joy and love for your treasure yarns as I call them! I got my first hand dyed yarn this year and cried over it. I just felt so honored to have such an amazing yarn! And I so hope to go next year and I will cry when I get there! This fiber community and world is the first place I have felt truly at home and that I belong. Anyway I felt such a connection to you and I am excited to see your journey of making everything!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Treasure yarn is an amazing term for it, I'm definitely using that going forward 😄 I still have my first skein of hand dyed that I ever got and it still feels almost too special to knit with.
@@Allwemakeisgood I have my first hand dyed yarn too and I know what you mean! I just have not been able to knit it up. I am so glad to know I am not the only one with an emotional attachment to our hand dyed yarns.
first time watching. you describe everything so well. I enjoined your filming. loved your fiber choices. can't wait to see your next podcast!
Thank you! I always feel like I don’t describe things well so I’m glad to hear people know what I’m talking about lol
Lovley to find your channel!
fun fun fun❣️❣️❣️
I’m a huge fan/purchaser of miss babs too. My daughter-in-law (out of georgia) has an etsy site - ALMAS AND CO - and she does organic things - my favorite is her ‘dragons breath tea’. Yes, I am an ENABLER!
I'm definitely going to check out her store!
