One of my favorite bikes, easiest most comfortable bike to ride. Street and track this thing rocks. Smoked a few ducati's on track with my gsxr.
that 750, with the right mods is a liter bike killer at most race tracks. and there's a huge aftermarket and domestic market for that bike!
Will always be the only sportbike I will own! It's legendary.. Enough said!
That intake howl sends chills down my spine!!
After much time and effort put into looking for my next bike, in the end, it's gonna be the GSX-R 750. Really against the other bikes, the only Con i could find was the headlight... Brembo brakes, Showa big piston forks, super light, maneuverable, and the 750 engine is way better than a 600 , it has the perfect power for the streets. Funny enough, in the flesh, the headlight actually doesn't look bad at all!
how does it compare to the 636?
+Pete Wolstencroft 750 is faster but 636 haa electronics and imo 636 looks better but I would still choose the 750
Yep, the 636 looks better, but boy is the 750 a performer!
+Alclab V. Lol yeah ikr
I hate the headlight. The previous model headlights were much better.
Sluggish in turns? What's this guy smoking? I've done a few laps on the new Ninja 6 and my '09 GSXR 750 is still more nimble and confidence inspiring. These reviews are such a waste of time - every middleweight shootout by different mags / sites has these bikes in a completely different (and sometimes totally reverse) order. I'm trying to pick a new bike for the spring and sadly I think I'm going to have to wait for opportunities to test ride everything since you can't seem to get an honest review anywhere.
Darwin Allen Like you said it’s all dependent on the rider. I have a R6 and owned a 750 and I personally didn’t like the bike on the track just due to ergonomics and my style. Loved it on the street though that’s honestly what I miss the most with it.
Darwin Allen I prefer the 09 vs the 11+
I have a 2016 GSX-R750, my first Bike for over 20 years and it's God-like. Best Bike ever made.
getting this soon :) I honestly hate the headlight from the video perspective but in person that headlight is so fukin sexy
ew no its ugly in person lol. the 07-08's look the best imo!
In your opinion, I luv my one bug eyed headlight xD
yuck lol! but i'd take two wheels over 4 any day :P
yup
+OGS IV I agree. It's a lot better looking in person. Also, I do feel that the '08 - '09 headlights look the best. But in any case, this one really did grow on me.
I personally ride a gsxr750 so I may be biased. I had an R6 and a CBR. Not sluggish at all. Bike has PLENTY of mid range torque and is just amazing overall. I did upgrade to steel braided brake lines and it just brought the brake performance and confidence up to a new level.
the best bike.number one
Adam negated everything the other riders said at the end for the cons. lol
Yup, makes you wonder whether these reviews are useless. One guy says the brakes are sluggish and inconsistent, the next guy LOVES the brakes. The flip flopping in track times by bike also adds to all the uncertainty.
darkchild4neverever It's just a matter of taste.
darkchild4neverever everyone will have a different opinion about a bike. That's why they say "make sure you try every bike in the range you are looking and then buy what you more comfortable on"
It's a personal opinion...what one rider is comfortable with wont apply to every other rider out there. So you need to take these reviews with a pinch of salt...need to have about 5 or more riders opinions to get a rough idea.
End of the day best got take it for a test run and make up your own mind
+CycleCruza Reviving this conversation to let you know that after watching a few videos, I've come to the realization that you're dangerously fucking stupid, and it's really unfortunate for people that they actually take your advice on anything to do with motorcycles, ever.
Dandelo19 hmmm...Stupid like telling my viewers to not do 100 mph around street corners on public street for a knee or elbow slide? Stupid like telling viewers to wear full gear? Stupid like telling my viewers to ride defensively to avoid having a fucked up day? Be specific with your comment rather than just random trolling because your life sucks. lol Squid much?
Love this bike .......... !!!!!!!!
I have one, Love it.
thats a nice bike….fast for what it is and easy to ride just like the guy says
by time Suzuki wakes up and starts brining out the 600 and 750 with ABS like every other bike manufacturer has out there
You man 7 years later and still no abs....
I'm on my third GSX-R, started off with a K2, then K4, presently on the L0 and still loving it. wouldn't want anything else.
You love it ha.
I'm thinking about GSXR 750 or Honda CBR600RR.
eslc eslc I'm biased, and love the Suzuki, but the Honda CBR is also a great ride, so you can't go wrong.
+James Moss Yo Im 6'1 250 and this will be my 1st bike. Which bike will be better for me?
Christopher Allen I would say the Suzuki GSXR 750.
I would seriously consider something smaller (even a 250 or 300) if this is your first first bike..
All my friends love this bike. Suzuki was smart not remand it to the dustbin. Funny because now the Super-Mids are all the rage.
Why is he saying there’s Traction control on the bike ???
Lovin the Gixxer*
Spettacolare!!!!
That headlight on the gsxr is hideous
"It turns sluggishly."
A little surprised to hear that. Could it be the profile of the rubber?
Not a Suzuki expert, but does it come with a steering damper? A couple of those clips showed some serious wobble on the turns.
Yes it does. I was looking at the exact same one this morning brand new for $9900
+sc12100 I've got a 2012 600 and yes, it did come with one stock. It's mounted on the front end though, not on the top of the triple.
Suzuki please update your bikes.
T Brown no need, they are perfect.
Suzuki has perfect bikes but they are falling behind the competition at least in the supersport category. New bikes like the Yamaha R1 are noticeably more advanced and have all the modern electronic aids that riders need.
T Brown Today is your lucky day. Please check this vid: ?v=bXU2PwNqe-4 in order to know why current GSX-R series are best.
Great bike, just have to change some things to get it proper.
It’s interesting how the zx6r is so close to the gsxr with the lap times. Within 1 second. And yet in a straight line race the gsxr should pull away from the zx6r noticeably.
a like the head lamp before, but the tail much better from before.
Very nice review. However, I have one important question (it is for me), after putting lets say 1.5K just to fix the flaws in the bike, would it last without squeezing every penny out of the owner's pocket?
+GriZzTr1CkZz The average street rider wouldn't find anything wrong with the bike. To call what these guys are pointing out "flaws" is really just nitpicking. Unless you're buying this buy strictly for track riding, I doubt you'll need to dump anything into it.
this is my first bike, a 2015 750. I have a STI and love speed and handling. gsxr 750 a a great bike
Straight out the Box full of Beans
pretty steady..
I might buy this bike.
me to head lamp is to big and boring it also is bad when it rains i had brand new 2012 750 its best bike ive ever road fast and agressive with two power modes down side is when you caught in rain, condensation gets inside glass poor quality for sealed unit, suzuki dealership answer was to leave lamp on main beam for 15 minutes to dry it out?no wonder buisness are closing? and also bad corrosion in the alloy chain cog back wheel goes horrid white and black?appart from that good bike
The best suzuki way of life
Headlight = fail.
lmao agreed. My roommate offered to sell me his 2010 GSX-R and I just wanted to see what the newer ones looked like first. And I see now how much of a fail it is. Not sure if this is a throwback or what but it makes it look outdated as fuck.
+ryanhayn The single headlight on GSXRs has it's place. It's definitely not a throwback as someone has mentioned. Almost all GSXRs have had a single headlight design for the last 15 years. Videos and pictures do not do it justice. How do I know? because I just bought this exact bike today and let me tell you, it is sexy looking and ties in very well with the res of the bike. Everyone is used to looking at the dual slanted headlight type design as seen from the others and to me it is played out. Yamaha knew this and that is why we see the new headlight design from them on the new R1. Granted it is still a dual light design, but it has changed drastically.
+Troy Angelo yep, people tell me mine looks great
Looks good in pictures too in my opinion. I should own one of these bikes this summer.
why is suzuki not in motogp???
They are in MotoGP now.
I kinda watched a few races this year looked like yamaha honda and ducati
Love my k4! She is sexy as hell and treats me right.
Love my L8 750gsxr..each month it just just grows on you.u become 1 with the bike..love the ergonomics .super comfy..i fell in love with the750 back in 2008..a friend of minehad an 06 gsxr750 ..i had a 2007 cbr100rr .we exchanged bikes for 2 days..i honestly instantly was hooked..comfy seats..its like i could forever..the handling was spot on...dont get me wrong i loved my fireblade but i never could use all that 1000ccof power..now this is my third Supersport ..6 months n it looks like im keeping her for the next 4 years..n after that im retiring on the GSXR1000RR..sail off to the sunset😎😎😎
The should bore out the 750 to 800cc make it have 150rwhp and weigh 180 kg wet .thats what it needs.
The 2018 model makes 148hp(135rwhp)..weighs 419lbs ..excellent bike..just imo its a 600 on steroids..revs to 14500 too😎😎
I was expecting to see the new honda cbr 600 in the contest
it's a great bike in many ways but for me it lacks the "fun factor" that is needed in a bike. I never got to ride mine on the track but it felt like that's where it would be most at home. I have a CBR1000rr now and it's a better street bike in almost every way.
את אופנוע זה אקנה בשחור
Sadly no abs
Sadly? I for one like it better without having it. Don't use a crutch so you can learn to ride instead of relying on electronics.
bikee4 do you know the use of it?
bikee4 You can switch the abs off if you want. Your comment is pointless.
***** You can't switch off the extra $1K cost.
Rocketninja200 No you can't but that's far less important when you look at the bigger picture. Bikes with ABS are much safer and that's a fact. I also know from experience. ABS saves a lot of money from damage to your bike and someone else's vehicle. If you switch off the ABS because you want 1337 skillz you'd be riding on track or stunting. Track riding is expensive and if you can afford it chances are that you wouldn't care about that extra $1K.
That front end is gay. Looks like 90s model. Either go back to the previous gen or put the gsxr1000 front end on it. Great bike doesn't get enough attention.
